The Dunfanaghy / Portnablagh area
Golf nearby,boating at Portnablagh Pier,Marble Hill Strand nearby is a Blue Flag Beach.Scenic Drives include a visit to World famous Glenveigh National Park.From there you can drive past Errigal Mountain - a favourite for climbers.From Errigal you can drive to Dunlewey Lakes and you will ,I'm sure,agree that they surpass the Lakes of Killarney.
A trip around Horn Head is another scenic drive-simply drive through Dunfanaghy and follow the sign for Horn Head.The rugged scenery in this part of Donegal has to be seen to be believed.
