"Fantastic 5 star apartment in stunning location"

Fantastic views from this well appointed apartment, looks straight onto Dundrum Bay, the tidal flow is so fast, every time you look out the picture has changed. Dundrum is a great little place, restaurants, shops, petrol station and 2 pubs, everything catered for. Less than an hour into Belfast and minutes from the Mourne mountains and several beaches. We`ll certainly be back soon.

Thank you very much for your kind words. We are delighted that you enjoyed the apartment and the stunning views. Dundrum may be a small village but as you said it has everything three good restaurants, pubs, hairdressers, beauty, chemist etc . We very much look forward to welcoming you back sometime soon. Mary and Noel

"Fabulous location, lots of internal space, stunning views"

We traveled to Belfast via car ferry from Liverpool, arrived at 32 the Quay at approx 7:30pm and were met by owners Noel and Mary, who I must say we're two of the friendliest and helpful people I have met. They personally showed us round the apartment and informed us of local restaurants and attractions. There was also a lovely welcome basket waiting for us. The apartment was extremely spacious and well appointed and enjoys a fabulous location with stunning views. As we were unpacking we saw two seals playing just under the balcony, approximately 20 metres away, we saw seals every day during our stay along with a variety of other wildlife. There are a number of excellent restaurants within a five minute walk along with convenience store and take away. Thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful location and hope to return soon and have no reservations about recommending the apartment to friends and family. Thank you Mary and Noel, hope to see you soon. Alan, Jenny, Claire, Andy and baby Joshua

Thank you very much Jenny and Alan. It was a pleasure having you to stay. We are delighted when guests appreciate the personal touch and found the apartment met all your needs. Yes, the views are spectacular and very peaceful and it is an added bonus when you see the Seals as the tide comes in. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Mary and Noel

"Super place!"

What a lovely apartment. Even better than the photographs because very quickly you soak in the lovely views as you relax , n a range of chairs all facing the water. It was spotlessly clean but also homey enough to relax. The bedrooms were lovely and we had no trouble sleeping on the comfy mattresses. We only spotted a seal from the balcony once, but used our binoculars every morning and evening to see what was about. The area is beautiful with so many local walks, the castle, the Murlough reserve and quick driving distance for walks in the Mourne Mountains. Mary and Noel were very welcoming and the welcome pack was gorgeous. There are lots of places for a quick shop within walking distance. We ate in the Mourne Seafood place- fantastic food and staff, A great meal in the Dundrum Inn- they have good deals from 5-7pm- we just missed this , but food still worth it. ( We were self-catering but didn't need to all week) we even had a chinese takeaway, which was fine, and the chip shop good too.) All thoroughly recommended.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for all the information you provided for future guests. It was a pleasure having you to stay and we hope to welcome you all back sometime in the future.

Sadly my wife and I are back home after spending a fortnight in this wonderful apartment. We were so impressed with it last year that we booked again for this year and are now looking forward to 2016 which we have already booked for our third visit. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need all of which is of the highest quality, even the crockery is Aynsley China. It is spotlessly clean and has views to die for. The main en suite bedroom has sliding patio type windows to floor level giving great views from the bed. The open plan living area has huge windows to floor level and patio doors to a balcony with table and chairs. The tide flows in and out filling the bay giving ever changing views of sea and wildlife. On three or four days we even saw seals below the balcony. My camera has never had so much use. Luggage is no problem as there is plenty of parking right outside the apartment block door and a lift just inside which stops adjacent to the apartment door. Most of your everyday needs are available in Dundrum with two general stores, a garage and hairdressers etc. There is a Chinese Takeaway and a couple of tearooms doing snacks and two pubs. Mourne Seafoods and the Bucks Head do very good meals and are within walking distance. The Maghera Inn two or three miles away, The Burrendale Hotel and Golf Links House in nearby Newcastle also do good meals. There are lots of shops and cafes in Newcastle and a nice promenade. There are plenty of attractions to visit. The Titanic Exhibition is thirty miles away in Belfast and Slieve Donard which is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland is about four or five miles away from the apartment. Silent Valley in the Mourne Mountains is also well worth a visit as is the Downpatrick Railway Museum. Roll on 2016.

Thank you both very much for your fabulous Review. It means a lot to us when Guests appreciate the apartment as much as we do. We are absolutely delighted that you have decided to book Chances Mourne View for the third year and we look forward to welcoming you back next year. Mary and Noel

"Stunning apartment in beautiful location"

Beautiful apartment in an equally beautiful location near the Mountains of Mourne; very well equipped and decorated, the location was perfect for us to explore the surrounding areas; can now understand why C.S. Lewis was so inspired by this area. The owners were easily accessible, and certainly made us feel very welcome, everything was to a very high standard. Would definitely recommend and return!

Thank you very much for your Review and we are delighted that you found the apartment and surrounding area so enjoyable. We would love to welcome you both back at a later date.

"Outstanding - for the second time."

This was the second time my husband and I stayed in this apartment, and we had a fabulous relaxing break once again. The apartment is stunning and it had all been re-painted since our last visit. Once again we were greeted with a welcome pack which included delicious freshly baked wheaten bread. The most amazing thing about the apartment are the views and the opportunity to sit and watch the tide roll in and out and enjoy the wildlife on display. There are highly recommended restaurants in Dundrum which we always plan on visiting but we always end up giving them a miss, opting instead to relax in the apartment. We hope to return again.

Thank you very much for your kind words which are very much appreciated as we do try to make a home from home. We look forward to welcoming you back at a later stage

"Immaculate apartment with outstanding views in a very peaceful setting"

Do yourself a favour and book this apartment. It is just wonderful. The property was easy to find and we were greeted upon arrival by a very friendly local lady who showed us around and handed over keys. She was based nearby so could answer any queries during our stay if needed. There was a lovely fresh food basket waiting for us on arrival. The apartment itself is spacious, decorated and furnished to a high standard, well equipped, and immaculately kept. The views are stunning and very peaceful. There is a convenience store and good restaurants within easy walking distance of the property. It represents good value for money. We were very well looked after throughout the whole experience and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Chances Mourne View Apartment.
