"Fantastic cottage, great value"

Having read the previous review we very nearly didn't book the cottage, but I'm glad we ignored it and booked!! This a lovely cottage located in a beautiful part of Ireland. We took our baby… More

"Isolated, difficult to find and in need of some TLC"

Rather out of the way place, which was difficult in finding. The scenery is very flat in the area with views across very ordinary fields. We had hoped to do some walking in the area but there did no… More

Your comments have been noted by us:
Please note the following:
1) In our nine years in business all of our visitors have adored our local landscape. Never once have we had another call our scenery "flat".
2) The directions to our property are extremely straight forward and again in our nine years of business we have had no complaints from visitors in this regard.
3) It has been noted that the majority of our visitors come to our property for the peace and tranquility that it offers as many travellers are from large cities. As you said visitors enjoy the fact that this property is "off the beaten track" yet so "close to great facilities and amenities" such as; a blue flag beach, four star restaurants, Kennedy Park and famine ship.
4) Toilet facilities: with respect to the broken toilet seat we apologise that this was the case as it was only noted that morning due to previous visitors occupying the property. With difficulty we found it hard to found the correct fittings and called to the property on two occasions to explain this.
5) Shower door: works perfectly.
6) The cottage is furnished with antique pine in keeping with the character and design of the property.
7) T.V. infact has over 100 channels which offers a broad range of viewing material. It is unfortunate that you found that these was not enough. The radio is very modern and clean. Your comments on the T.V. and radio are hardly believable. DVD fully operational.
8) The seomra - the microwave was removed from the kitchen area and brought to the seomra by the previous visitors as they thought it was unhealthy and not needed.
9) It was quite obvious that the high chair was ready for dumping as it was beside the rubbish bin. The new baby chair was located in the press in the bathroom should you have cared to look for it. As you were a party of four adults we did not deem it necessary to leave it out for you as we would for visitors with children of the appropriate age.
10) Kitchen area - I would like to note that the kitchen area is fully equipped so much so that previous visitors have actually complemented us on the volume of kitchen utensils and crockery. I would like to highlight to you that our property is extremely clean and hygienic. As the property owners we take great pride in ensuring this at all times. New carpets are throughout the property.
11) Our guests have wined and dined and had many an enjoyable BBQ on our patio area and not one has complained about our beautiful garden furniture.
12) Meter readings - all guests read their own meter reading and there has never been any issue with this.
13) Our daughter greeted you in a sincere, friendly manner and engaged you in conversation re your trip and nothing was mentioned re your problems concerning the property.
14) It is stated in our welcome pack that you should call over or phone the property owner should you require any assistance. Imagine Ireland also should have been contacted if you were incurring problems or difficulties which at no point were they or us as property owners notified.
15) It is of utmost importance to us that all our visitors enjoy there stay with us.
