This fisherman's terraced cottage in the heart of Duncannon village, County Wexford, is over 100 years old and boasts a number of fascinating period features. The property itself is situated directly across the road from a golden stretch of sandy beach, making this a perfect place for anyone looking to spend their holiday on the beach. Accommodation in the property is comfortable and includes three bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area and a lounge with cosy open fire. The cottage is also well placed for local amenities such as the pubs and restaurants available in the village.

Duncannon area

Situated in the south west of County Wexford, the picturesque fishing village of Duncannon is dominated by Duncannon Fort - positioned on a rocky outcrop jutting into the channel. To the west is Waterford Harbour which boasts a sandy beach, popular for swimming and sunbathing, as well as being home to the International Sand Sculpting Festival. With a few pubs and restaurants and a children's playground, the village of Duncannon is an excellent spot for a traditional seaside holiday.

It is also possible to catch a ferry to the beaches Dunmore East – popular for their water spots – to shop for traditional crystal in Waterford, enjoy the music of Wexford Festival Opera each October or explore some of the historic houses and lovely walks which run throughout the region.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
