Located within a working farm that runs to 400 acres, this detached timber-built chalet can accommodate up to six guests and has the benefit of a balcony area so that guests can enjoy the fresh air no matter what the weather. An added bonus of the property is the lovely, uninterrupted views towards Bass Rock, home to the UK's largest gannet colony, the Firth of Forth, and the wider east coast of Scotland. The Lothians region

Just over the English border lies Dumfries and Galloway in the west and the Scottish Borders in the east. These two very distinctive areas have retained a totally rural and tranquil atmosphere where visitors can enjoy a wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In fact here you'll find miles of beautiful untouched countryside and striking coastlines; a great place for outdoors holidays, fishing, walking, sailing and cycling. Coastal and beach strolls and small fishing harbours waiting to be explored. The capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh, is probably on most people's ‘must visit' list and with good reason. The city is renowned for its magnificent architecture and historical buildings, which include Edinburgh Castle and numerous museums and galleries. Today Edinburgh is a thriving modern city with world class shops and restaurants and lots of traditional atmospheric pubs.

A brief train journey from Dunbar, lasting approximately twenty minutes, will bring visitors into the heart of the beautiful capital city of Edinburgh. This architectural gem was famously described as the ‘Athens of the North' and this was no exaggeration. Over time the city has developed into one of the main cultural centres of Europe with its annual summer festival attracting visitors from far and wide. The shopping along the Royal Mail is regarded as some of the best in the UK and there are a host of visitor attractions to enjoy such as Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Zoo and the National Portrait Gallery of Scotland. Visitors should also take the time to visit the award winning Scottish Museum of Fight and the John Muir Country Park. This is a region of Scotland where visitors are simply spoilt for choice and where it is always possible to switch from time spent in lovely, untouched countryside to visiting a whole host of visitor facilities that few other regions in the British Isles can match.
