Why choose Dunmuck? -"Far from the madding crowd" Dunmuck is our family holiday home available to let throughout the year. -beaches/ coast/ hills/ pretty villages and historic towns. -For the adults there are: country pubs golf gardens walking climbing arts and craft trails -For teenagers and soon-to-be-teenagers, Dumfries has a swimming pool, ice rink, cinema and shops... and a direct bus route there. -For children there is plenty to do: at Dunmuck there is a trampoline, a tree swing and plenty of exploring to do around the house by the burn and in the woods. You can also visit sandy bays and rock pools, adventure playgrounds and farm parks. -There are 2 plastic canoes, and 2 ponds on the farm. -Some of the best mountain bike trails in Scotland are nearby and there is a tennis court right at the bottom of the drive. -An RSPB reserve is situated 2 miles away at Mersehead, which also offers coastal walks. -When you have done what you want there is always birdsong and river music or the crackle of a log fire to relax by or be daring and dip in the outdoor bath under the stars.
