The Normandy region

The Normandy region of France combines a dramatic coastline, lush rolling farmland and bustling market towns. You can enjoy food to die for, a host of sandy beaches and numerous historical cities such as St Malo, Rennes, Dinan, Bayeaux and the 'Gateway to Britanny'

Fougeres.

In addition Normandy is blessed with rich coatal waters, sparkling lakes, meandering rivers, rushing streamsand arguably the best fishing in France.

If you come here once you'll surely visit time after time.

Le Chatel is situated in the ideal holiday location.

There is a local water sports park for children, an acquarium, canoing, horse riding and, for the more adventurous, hang gliding, hot air balooning and jet skiing. Hop on to a ferry and you can be in Jersey in 1 1/4 hours.

If you fancy a round of golf, Normandy with it's 37 golf courses, was voted amongst the top 10 golfing destinations in the world in 2001.

Of course if you want a day off to relax, then stay at home, enjoy Le Chatels acre of private gardens and recharge your batteries to continue your Normandy experience later.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us despite the 2 problems you highlighted. We do make it clear on the advert that the stairs may make the property unsuitable for the elderly and infirm and show a picture of the stairs to emphasize this point. The advert also makes clear that the one bathroom is on the ground floor. When this concern was raised we placed a bed downstairs to resolve the problem.
