Nestled in a secluded corner of Dubrovnik’s Ploce neighborhood, Sunrise is ideal for those who seek a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a central location. Its lofty position provides breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and Old Town, which guests may enjoy from the cozy garden terrace. Old Town is just a 5-minute walk away, although the return trip will take a bit longer as it involves a gently-sloping 95-step climb.

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment is newly-renovated and beautifully decorated in a rustic yet modern style. It boasts 2 bedrooms with double bed, a living room with sofabed that can accommodate 2 children, a full kitchen with dishwasher and dining table, and spacious outdoor terrace. Amenities include satellite TV, air conditioning (unit is in the living room), and washing machine.

Sunrise is situated on a pedestrian-only street. If arriving by taxi, guests will be dropped off at the bottom of the street and must climb a total of 95 gently-sloping steps up a hill.

The Dubrovnik / Ploce area

Ploce is a quiet residential neighborhood and is very popular among visitors to Dubrovnik. Its position high on a hill ensures some of the most spectacular views of the Adriatic and Old Town below. Old Town can be reached in 5-15 minutes by foot, but the return trip usually takes longer as it involves an uphill climb. But the serene atmosphere and magnificent views make the climb well worthwhile.

By air: Dubrovnik airport (DBV) is served by many airlines including, but not limited to: Aer Lingus, Air Nostrum, Austrian Airlines, Blue 1, British Airways, ClickAir, Croatia Airlines, Easy Jet, Estonian Air, FlyBe, German Wings, Iberia, Jetairfly, Jet2com, Lufthansa, Luxair, Norwegian Air, SAS, Tarom, TUIfly.

By ferry: Jadrolinija operates international ferry service to Dubrovnik from Bari, Italy, as well as along the Croatian Coast.

The best way to get to the apartment is by taxi. We can arrange a transfer from the airport to the apartment at a price of 220 Kuna/30 Eur for 1-3 persons or 300 Kuna/40 EUR for 4-8 persons.

“Dubrovnik - so beautiful!” We arrived in Dubrovnik at the end of a hectic Europe trip looking for some sunshine and relaxation, and that is what we got! We had the most fantastic stay in Dubrovnik (in fact we absolutely loved Croatia – we spent the following 5 days in Split). The apartment was fantastic – very roomy and we loved the terrace garden – we made the most of this in the evenings, sipping cocktails and watching the lights come on over the Old Town. The apartment was so close to the Old Town – we came and went on a regular basis. The apartment owner Maja was very helpful – we arrived very late at night and she waited for us, and her preferred taxi driver Vid, was fantastic in trying to get the taxi as close as possible and helping us with our bags. He also picked us up at the end of our stay to take us to the ferry. A special thank you to Maja – we left the camera at the apartment and she posted it to our rental accommodation in Split – we were very happy to have it back. The website website terrific – everything was so easy in regards to making the booking and the helpful information provided about Dubrovnik. We appreciated the prompt answers to our queries. Andrew arranged a day tour to Mostar for us – this was in a small mini-bus with very personalised service – the driver and guide were young locals and it was much nicer than the huge coaches which also visited Mostar. We also took the cable car to the hill above the town and the views were amazing! We would thoroughly recommend Sunrise Apartment and the Dubrovnik Apartment Source website

“We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sunrise. Although there are around 100 steps to this apartment, it is well worth the climb. The views of the Adriatic Sea and the town of Dubrovnik are amazing. This apartment was very clean, and had several wonderful amenities, i.e., a balcony overlooking Dubrovnik, a kitchen/living room area, washing machine, clothes drying rack, radio... We were able to walk easily into the town of Dubrovnik, bus stops...it is a great location. The host met us at the apartment and was also very friendly and helpful. “Sunrise was totally fantastic, we loved every minute. It had everything we needed, even down to candles and a decent hair dryer. The view is amazing and one of which you could never tire. I would highly recommend your services and will look forward to visiting again in the near future. The only comment we had was to warn anyone that the steps are pretty hard work with your luggage as there is no road so a taxi will drop you off at the bottom and you have to drag your bags up over a hundred steps, very hard work, even for a fit person, coming back down in the rain was even worse, and forget going out in heels :-). But it would not put us off staying again, we will just bring less stuff. Thanks very much; we cannot fault your excellent service!”

She was able to arrange a taxi for us from and back to the airport which was important given the location of the apartment.
