Secret II apartment is settled on the 2nd floor of a historical building. It has been completely remodelled and refurbished with quality and luxurious furniture and interiors to make its guests fill like they are at their very own home away from home. This duplex apartment is spacious and can sleep up to 4 people. On the 1st floor you will find one bedroom with two single beds and another bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a bathtub. On the 2nd floor you have a wonderful layout that’s spacious and houses the kitchen and living area. The kitchenette is equipped with all the necessities to prepare light meals including fridge/freezer, 2 electric stove, microwave, espresso coffee machine, kettle toaster, etc. The 2nd floor is perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company after a long day of sightseeing. The living room is furnished with a sofa, comfortable armchair, flat screen, and satellite TV, DVD, CD player and WI-FI access. There is a dining area which has a seating for 4. Secret II is suitable for those looking for close proximities to tourist attractions, comfort and an appreciation to quality living.

The Secret house is located in the flat part of the Old town with no outdoor steps making it accessible for everyone, even for those having walking difficulties and family with young children. The apartment can be combined with the Secret I, III & IV apartments. It would be perfect for a group of 12-14.

Dubrovnik is the most well known destination of the Dalmatian Riviera with its famous medieval walled town, but there are many other beautiful and interesting places within easy reach by boat or bus.
Lokrum island, a UNESCO protected site, which houses the ruins of a former monastery and fort, plus a restaurant and plenty of secluded beaches, is a fifteen minute boat ride away from the Old Town harbour.
Cavtat, a picturesque village, set around a harbour, is about 50 minutes boat ride from the old harbour or 20 minute bus drive. It has lots of harbour side cafes, rocky and pebble beaches, and pleasant, waterside walks.
Elafiti islands are really a perfect getaway from city crowds. The most popular islands are Kolocep, Lopud and Šipan and are also the only inhabited islands. Daily departure from the old harbour or from Gruž harbour.
Mljet Island is famous for its natural beauty and the west part is a National park. The park is definitely worth a trip. Daily departure from Gruž harbour.
Peljesac Peninsula is well known for its wines. The whole peninsula is covered with dense evergreen and Mediterranean vegetation. On the way, we recommend to stop at Ston, famous for its shellfish restaurants -the best in the region- which offer oysters as a speciality. A day trip not to be missed!

“We loved the Secrets II apartment. It was just as pictured and most beautifully appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable - the bathroom was very lovely with plenty of wonderful hot water..... The location was amazing! We really enjoyed Dubrovnik......There was just one drawback for me (and my sister) - we both have bad knees and the stairs were a bit difficult for us by the end of the day. “I rented Secrets IV apartment based on Isabelle's (Butterfly Services) proposal. The booking process was carried out quickly, promptly and friendly. Isabelle sent me plenty of information about contact info, how to find the location, how to meet etc. After arrival to the airport, I called Butterfly Services (Viktor) and we agreed where we would meet and when to get the keys. Viktor was waiting for me when I got to Old Town and he took me to the apartment. There he presented the apartment and gave me tips and hints about what is going on in the town and what to do during the week. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, modern with a classy touch. It has plenty of windows, which open to different streets so it is nice to look around. And the apartment is smack in the middle of the Old Town atmosphere! It was always an overwhelming feeling when you stepped out and you were at once there where the action was. Of course, the hustle and buzz was very audible to the apartment but the windows closed tightly and isolated the noise outside extremely well. My biggest worry before the trip was that if there is much noise and if there are plenty of people passing by your door. But that was not an issue. I didn't see or hear any 'outsiders' inside the building during my stay although the front door (to the street) was not locked. I was traveling alone so there was plenty of room for me. However, if you are 3-4 persons, you probably would not find place for your clothes. There is a kitchenette but you probably would use only the fridge to keep your drinks cold. There is no shortage of cafes and restaurants. The supermarket is also near. The Old Town is so amazing with all the old buildings and medieval atmosphere. The narrow streets, small restaurants in the streets, polished pavements, friendly people and excellent ice cream! Based on Viktor's recommendation, I made a trip to Lokrum island also to get some breathing space from the cruise ship tourists. Amazing, I had one bay there on the cliffs totally for myself. I truly enjoyed my stay in Dubrovnik. When I was leaving Dubrovnik, Viktor came punctually to escort me to my airport transportation (which Butterfly Services had arranged). The driver (Peter) was very polite and knowledgeable, we had a very nice conversation en-route. At all times I received friendly, prompt and reliable service from both Isabelle and Viktor. I felt always welcome and they were always able and willing to help me, when I needed that. I can certainly recommend both the Butterfly Services and also this apartment for anyone who wishes to explore Dubrovnik and surroundings. It is not cheap, you can find much cheaper accommodation within the walls but it is more comfortable than the usual hotels. Trip advisor review, October 2011

“The Secret IV apartment could not be located more centrally, which is important in Dubrovnik since the whole point of being there is to see and experience the old town, walk to restaurants, delicious gelatto stands, etc. It was a perfect setting for four people with fully separate bedrooms and bathrooms and one small common area in between, which ensures privacy as well as ability to socialize. “We thought the Secret I apartment was absolutely beautifully decorated - light, spacious and atmospheric, and matched up to the pictures on the website. I was really glad i picked it to be the location for our wedding photos. We were very comfortable and felt very at home there. The sound system and TV was amazing! And the bathroom and kitchenette were good and clean too. Everything was pretty easy to work out how to use. It had a central location which was right in the centre of everything, and it is definitely the place to soak up the sights and sounds of Dubrovnik. - I dont think the website really warns of you of the fact that there are bells right outside the apartment windows - this added to the charm and atmosphere - but it did also disturb our sleep I understand that it is a central busy location, but i just think that you should warn people of the bells right outside. Booking and organisation was excellent - Isabelle you are a star! and were a joy to deal with. Very organised, efficient and quick to respond to emails. Isabelle and Victor from Butterfly Services did a great job - we just said we needed something to feel home and they found the ideal place for us. The setting couldn't be more genuine: right in the middle of the old town, next to the church at the end of Stradun, pale stone mansion like a true Venetian palazzo, the atmosphere is unbeatable! Better not to recommend it to anyone and keep it to yourself! If you drop by Dubrovnik, go for it. “We had a fantastic stay in Dubrovnik and really liked the Secret apartment. The apartment was very comfortable with all of the amenities that we expected. The location was fantastic -- right in the center of everything going on. Your assistance, as well as Viktor's help was most appreciated. We really loved our visit to Lokrum as well as the Banje beach. On our first night we tried Olivia for pizza at Viktor's suggestion and were really happy to have delicious food right around the corner from the apartment. " We stay a week at Secret I apartment. Location is excellent, ideal for touring Dubrovnik on the stradum with only stairs to the apartment. Transfer was standing waiting on us; give us information along the journey. Great car and nice to be driven around. The booking procedure etc was fantastic. Answered all our questions. Very helpful and friendly owners. They let us stay in the apartment a lot longer than we should have been. Also they let us stay in the apartment upstairs when it was raining on our last day instead of going out in the rain. Much appreciated. "Our stay in Dubrovnik was great. The accommodation was perfect. It's central location made it ideal for exploring the Old Town and easy to return to for a break in between sight seeing. Even though it's in the heart of the town, it was very tranquil & I didn't hear the church bells in the morning. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Information received both before the trip and upon arrival was more than adequate. The description on the website was honest & accurate and the booking procedure was very straight-forward. In addition to that, any questions I had were readily answered. Arrival information, getting from the airport to the meeting place and advice about where to go - from grocery shops to restaurants & what to see - sights in Dubrovnik & around - was extremely useful. Your service in general was excellent - from the information prior to arrival, meeting up and being shown to the apartment and the apartment itself. Friendly, helpful, informative & professional, but not intrusive.
