The bus station is 50 meters away, and less than 10 minutes' drive takes you to the old city and several beaches as well. Stay at Simoneta's and you will really get value for money.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region
The city of Dubrovnik is situated in the very south of the Republic of Croatia. It is surrounded by a group of Islands known as the Elaphite archipelago. Some of these islands include: Lokrum, situated in front of the Old City, and renowned for its botanic garden. Lopud, half an hour's boat journey away, which boasts one of the Adriatic Coast's best beaches and is a perfect place for sunbathing. Mljet, meanwhile, is the biggest island on the Riviera and offers enough attractions to keep you busy for a week or more! The whole island is a stunning natural park with a number of beautiful lakes.

Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic", is a stunning old city steeped in history and culture, which is replete with architectural and historical treasures. Unsurprisingly, it is now one of the major tourist attractions of the Eastern Mediterranean. Our apartment is a mere 5-minute bus ride or a pleasant 15-minute stroll from Dubrovnik's Old Town. In summer the "Dubrovnik Summer Festival" presents a rich programme of classical music, theatre, opera and dance on more than 70 open - air venues over 47 days each year.
