"What an amazing apartment and friendly owners"

We arrived at Dubrovnik airport and received a transfer from the owners son, he was extremely friendly and took us to a local supermarket on the way back to do some shopping for the apartment. We pulled up to the apartment and when we entered we were pleasantly surprised, even though the pictures are from 2009 on the listing it hadn't changed one it (except the tree near the hot/cold tub was taller). It was extremely clean and the apartment was everything we needed for our honeymoon, they even bought us a bottle of champagne which was waiting for us in the fridge. The view is amazing from all points of the apartment, our room, BBQ area and the balcony. The owner, Katarina, was welcoming and very accommodating to all our needs, even taking us to the shops when we needed top ups. The BBQ area has a sound system, gas hobs and the big fire pit area for the BBQ itself.

The nearest shop and bus stop (across from the shop) is however 1km away, and on hot days can be a little extreme, but it is a lovely walk never the less. There is a little restaurant 500m from the apartment which is amazing (see my review of this on trip advisor). The sea is crystal clear and easy to swim in, just wear something on your feet as it is rocky. If you have children then I would suggest a car as there is "NO" pavements to walk down, which is a minor downside.

If Pjeor (sorry if I spelt the name wrong), the son, is about he will happily give you lifts into new and old town Dubrovnik for a reasonable price as to get a taxi it can be between 120-140 kuna (£13-£15), and he will pick you up at whatever time you want.

There is free wifi, as I am now sat looking at the tremendous view writing this review on our last day :( which is a great bonus, also most cafes and restaurants have free wifi, just ask, don't be ashamed, it's free!

We loved it here and would love to come back, it's perfect and the price is extremely reasonable considering other hotels and apartments.

Much love for this place
