Home description
This stylish and luxurious 400-year old house is located inside the walls of the Old Town in Dubrovnik and has a terrace with a stunning view over the sea, city walls and the mountains. It has been restored and finished to high specifications including air-conditioning. It retains many of the original features such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams. The house is located about 5-10 minutes walking distance from two of the entrances to the Old Town, Pile Gate or Ploce Gate, passing the famous street, Stadun, which is about a 2-5 minute stroll from the house. It is also only a few steps from a small gate in the old city wall leading out though to Buza II, where you can swim off the rocks in the crystal clear water. The nearest beach is located a 10 minutes walk through Old Town.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region
Dubrovnik enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate that sees many sunny days, even during winter. Generally the winters are quite mild with average days fluctuating between 10°C (50°F) and 5°C (41°F) while summer temperatures are around 30°C (86°F). Other places to visit are the Island of Lokrum - Park of Nature is just 15 minutes by boat. There are also regular excursions to the Elaffitie islands which boast unspoilt nature and lovely beaches. National park Mljet is the most beautiful of these islands. There are also daily excursions to Cavtat, picturesque city in beautiful region of Konavle. In region of Primorje you can see numerous renaissance summer villas with the most known one with Arboretum in Trsteno. Peljesac peninsula is known by its wines and beautiful small villages (Viganj, Trstenik, Zuljana) with small not touristic beaches. Renaissance small town Ston has one of the oldest active salt plantations in the world. A trip to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina is also highly recommended!

The market for fresh fruit/veg and flowers, supermarkets, banks (and cash points), bakeries, ice cream parlours, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops can all be found within a short walk from the house, as can many cultural monuments, museums and galleries.
How to get there
There are regular flights from London throughout the year and from Luton, Birmingham and Manchester in season. All our guests can have discounted car rental. We also organise airport transfers for our guests.
