The location is Dubrovnik but the style is decidedly Manhattan at this posh studio apartment. Designer Italian furniture, luxurious parquet floors, and rich textiles will leave no doubt that guests have been placed gently into the lap of luxury, while the ultra-central location puts within easy reach everything Old Town has to offer.

Fifth Avenue I is a 39-square-meter studio apartment on the first floor. It consists of a king bed dressed in fine linens, a generously-sized wardrobe, a pristine bathroom with bathtub and shower, a dining table for 2, and a kitchenette suitable for preparing snacks and light meals. It is bright and airy owing to high ceilings and two large windows which face Prijeko Street.

Amenities include air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, wireless Internet, coffee maker, microwave, hairdryer, and iron. No smoking, no pets.

The apartment is ideally positioned in the heart of Old Town, just steps away from the lively restaurants and cafes of Prijeko and Stradun. Guests won’t have to go far to join the revelry, and can retreat comfortably behind the barrier of sound-insulated windows when they are done for the evening. Shops, sights, and transportation (both land and sea) are also close by, and the large Banje beach is just 5-7 minutes’ walking distance outside of Old Town’s Ploce gate.

Fifth Avenue I sleeps 2. For larger groups, a hotel-style adjoining door allows it to be combined with Fifth Avenue II next door to seamlessly form a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment that sleeps 6.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region

George Bernard Shaw called Dubrovnik “the pearl of the Adriatic” when he visited here in the 1930s and Dubrovnik is still popular with visitors from all over the world. With its uniquely preserved medieval walls, brilliant sunshine, translucent waters and dramatic mountains, the Dubrovnik Riviera is a unique holiday experience that lives up to its reputation as a premier destination. Ideal for those who want to relax and sunbathe by the clear warm waters of the Adriatic, and if you’re feeling more energetic there is the magnificent Old Town to discover, or you can take longer trips on land or sea.

Dubrovnik is clearly special. A magnificent curtain of walls surrounds marble streets and baroque buildings that exude a pearly light in the Adriatic sun. The main pedestrian thoroughfare, Stradun, is a melange of cafés and shops with outstanding monuments at either end. Churches, monasteries and museums ornamented with finely carved stone recall an eventful history and a vibrant artistic tradition. Beyond the city is a heavenly landscape of beaches, wooded peninsulas and a sea strewn with lush islands.
