Dubrovnik Summer festival in July and August, bringing an added dash of glamour to the Old Town streets. There are boat trips from harbour(3 min walking distance)to various islands and to the nature reserve at Lokrum island.The best way to get your bearings in the Old Town is by making a tour of the still largely intact City Walls which stretch for some 2 km ,completely surrounding the Old Town.
How to get there
Flight available from British Airlines and Croatia Airlines. Local buses run regularly between airport and Old Town . There are always local taxis available at the airport ,fare should not be more then £20 or 200kn.
