Apartment is situated on the first floor of a building in Gruz, overlooking the port of Dubrovnik. It has a terrace with garden furtniture for you to enjoy.
The location of this apartment is great for exploring Dubrovnik (old city can be reached by bus in 10 minutes) and the surrounding area. Ferry from the port will take you to nearby islands and also the main bus terminal is cca 10 minutes walk away.
This apartment is perfect for couples or families with a child.

Apartment consists of one double bedroom (additional bed is available) and has a sea view from the window, living area with equipped kitchen and dining area and a bathroom with shower. The apartment is fully air conditioned and has a separate entrance and a terrace with garden furniture for relaxing and enjoying your breakfast or a refreshing drink.

The beaches, shopping area and restaurants can be reached by foot or by car/bus in 10-15 minutes. There is also a farmers market & fish market nearby and they are open every morning.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region

Dubrovnik area has been a well known tourist destination for a long time and it has a lot to offer. WIth it's mild climate and clear blue sea it makes it a great choice for a holiday from April through October.

From the old city which is like a one big museum for itself, to the beautiful coastline and the islands of Elafiti (which can be reached by a regular ferry or by organised daytrips) there are many interesting things to see and do here. This is why most of our guests are coming back over and over again.

The Dubrovnik / Gruz area

Gruz is a peaceful part of Dubrovnik and it makes a great base for exploring Dubrovnik and the surrouding area. It makes it attractive as it is where the Dubrovnik port is (chance to go and see Elafiti islands and Mljet), as well as the main bus terminal. At the same time it is very well connected with other parts of Dubrovnik.
There are bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, farmers market, fish market and everytning else you might need in the area and in a walking distance. Also there are super luxury yachts docked in the Marina in Gruz through the summer and it makes a great walk along the sea.

Dubrovnik has a number of direct flights from UK & Ireland, as well as from other destinations accroos Europe. From UK there are regular flights operated by BA(Gatwick) the whole year round, as well as during the season months there are flights operated by EasyJet (Gatwick, Stansted & Liverpool), BMI baby, Jet2, flybe.com, Avro, Thomsonfly, etc.

“Lots of space but limited appliances.” It was a clean, well sized apartment. Nice terrace area. Being near the ferry port was very useful. The socket next to the washing machine didn't work so no laundry could be done. But we used an extension lead from the other room so it wasn't a big issue. The Tv was in pretty bad shape. We were told we could only use the hobs on the cooking station. We were also woken up quite early every morning by the sound of huge cruise ships maybe 500m away. Part of the apartment has been blocked up to create a separate living space which has very thin walls. The view in the picture is a little misleading. The apartment is in a very built up area. Considering all that... It was a pleasant stay. The owner was very kind and picked us up from the bus station. But I just feel it was a little expensive for what it was.
