About the home

Apartment has an amazing sea view, also visible part of Old town and surrounding islands. It is two floor apartment 45 m2, downstairs is bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, satellite TV, airconditioner, lodga with a seasight. Upstairs is a second bathroom, smaller bedroom, and terrace. If you want to sleep upstairs, downstair bedroom can be living room. This is good for people who would stay for a longer period.

It is turned on south side, all day sunny, and is same during winter days, therefore is really suitable also for winter holidays for those who doesnt like snowy holidays. Think about all winter time in apartment with a seas view and your room warmed by sunlight in decembeer and January.

It is possible to rent a 6 meter speedboat with skipper, and go arround to sea panorama and islands, or even fishing.
Also available smaller 4 meters boat to sail arround.

Conditions

It is possible to let it for a longer period with a discount. Longer period means 3 weeks or more.
For several months rent during spring, winter or autumn prices for monthly rate starting from 500 EUR.

Minimum lets are 4 nights.
Smoking can be agreed.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region

Dubrovnik region is situated on south part of Croatian Adriatic coast, includes several islands, and several small towns, and region centre town of Dubrovnik itself. Old Town of Dubrovnik is medieval historic town with strong city walls and fortresses.

Wheather is suitable for swimming on the beach from May to October. Sea temperatures are from 22 to 28 Celsius between May and beggining of October, through October from 18-22 Celsius.

It is also suitable for holidays out of summer season, beacuse is lot of sunny days even during winter period.

The Dubrovnik / Lapad area

Apartment is situated in Dubrovnik quarter called Lapad, this apartment is a Lapad' s closest point to Old Town, only about 15 minutes walk to it.
There is nearby bus stop to easy reach other parts of Dubrovnik. Lapad is a full of beaches and touristic offers.
Cable car from Old Town to Srd hill is fully visible from the apartment. Interesting festivals, activities and happenings are Dubrovnik Summer Festival( exibitions, classic music, etno dancing), discotheques, beach parties, cruising by night on the medieval ships replicas,Old Town medieval walls and towers, many museums, Elafit islands, even horse riding (15km away), water sports, diving and diving school, kayak and jet ski rentals and all kinds of sailing boats and pleasure crafts, even horse riding (15km away).

For funs of HBO serial Game of Thrones, shooting of 4th season will take place in Dubrovnik City walls during spring 2013. 2nd and 3rd season had shoting in Dubrovnik in September and October of 2011 and 2012.

For all these reasons Dubrovnik is every summer recognized as an important and atractive destination and visited by tourists from all arround the world, including many celebrities from sport and show business.

Airport is 20 km from the apartment, it is possible to hire a rent a car on the airport or use the bus from airport to town, then a cab/taxi from central bus station to the apartment, or to take a cab/taxi from airport to the apartment. Possible that apartment owner pick you up on the airport, depend of previous agreement.

“Great view, good location, clean and well presented apartment” Apartment as described - the view both from the window and terrace is beautiful. It was clean and tidy with pretty much everything we expected. The only suggestion we would make is that a second chair and small table is added to the terrace. The apartment is located on the top floor of a residential block about 20 mins walk to the old town (or jump on the number 4 bus (5 mins walk from apartment). We tended to walk into the old town (downhill) and catch the bus back. Mini market and bakery (24hrs) very close by.
