The modern detached 2-storey villa, located in a small gated development of St Peters Villas, in the hamlet of Banja, has stunning views of Slano Bay. The villa stands on an idyllic spot approx. 70m from the sea, an easy stroll down for a quick swim or an easy pop back if you've forgotten something. The gentle sloping beach is excellent for young ones to paddle in.
Ground Floor : Lounge/dining room– comfortable Italian leathers sofas, coffee table, low table/bookcase with satellite TV offering many European channels, an ipod dock for playing music and a dvd player, writing desk with chair. The large dining table is extendable.
Kitchen : has fridge-freezer, dishwasher, a washing machine, full size electric oven, a gas/electric combi hob with extractor hood above. There is also a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a toaster, an ironing board and iron. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs. There is a stone barbecue for your outdoor cooking.
Bathroom : white shower cubicle, toilet unit and wash basin, vanity unit , shaving point and heated towel rail.
There is an air-con unit in entrance hall and in the lounge.
First floor : Bedroom 1 : a light and airy room with full length window towards the front and a door opening out to the balcony. It has a kingsize bed 200cm x 160cm, wardrobe with drawers and bedside tables on both sides, and an air-con unit.
Bedroom 2 : a spacious bedroom with 2 twin single beds which can be combined to make a big bed. There are bedside tables, drawers and a wardrobe.
Balcony – both bedrooms have access to the private and secluded balcony which gives you a breathe-taking views across the bay of Slano, right across over to the Peljesac Peninsula. It's a wonderful spot to sit and read or sunbathe, or relax with a glass of wine while watching the sunset in the evening.

The garden has a terrace with furniture for your dining or sun bathing. Garage is included. There are 2 bikes available for guests who may wish to explore the bay.
The centre of Slano, with its restaurants, cafes, post office, doctor surgery, bakery, and 2 supermarkets is 1 km from the villa. The tourist office where you can get your sightseeing information is just opposite the 5* Grand Admiral Hotel.
Villamira is 55 mins drive from Dubrovnik airport. It is an excellent home from home villa to simply relax and an excellent base to explore southern Dalmatia. The ancient city of Dubrovnik is only 45 mins drive away.

The Dubrovnik Riviera/Islands region
Villamira lies in the peaceful and tranquil hamlet of Banja in the quiet bay of Slano, approx 27 km from the buzzing historical Dubrovnik with its magnificient preserved medieval old city.
From Villamira, you can explore the uniqueness of Dubrovnik. Take a leisurely drive to the Peljesac Peninsula and visit the wineries in the area. Stop at the ancient town of Ston with its Roman walls and numerous restaurants and sample the local cuisine.
Take a trip to Korcula, another interesting place that is not to be missed. Include a day trip to Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BIH) which is 2 hrs drive from Villamira. Beyond the hills of Slano, across the border, the (Wind) Vjetranica Caves one of the largest is BIH isopened to tourists in the peak season. If you stay long enough include the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro in your exploration as it's only within a day trip away if you start out early. You may wish to take a leisurely boat trip out to the islands.
Slano has 2 supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, shops, post office, tourist office and doctor's surgery. The 5* Grand Admiral Hotel offers its faciities to non-residents on a daily basis for a fee. The August summer festival offers an eclectic mix of interests, from the gastronomic spit-roast lamb to local arts and crafts.
The villa is well-placed for the adventurous and also for families. The beach nearest the villa is sheltered and it shelfs gently into the sea making it safe for little ones to paddle in.
Take your time to explore. Alternately, you may just sunbathe on the beach or in the villa grounds, swim and relax. Take the bike and have a pedal round to the other side of the bay or take a walk up the hillside outside the villa and simply immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings.
