The East Ireland region
Irish name Dubhlinn, meaning "black pool". Dublin is an old city but the Temple Bar area is full of the vibrancy of youth. . This hugely popular cultural, entertainment hub attracts lots of the city's newcomers and natives. It is famed for its fun pubs and great party atmosphere.
A walk through the cobbled thoroughfares will reveal a huge array of cafés and bars vintage and speciality shops, piercing and tattoo artists to second-hand music stores and it shows that even in such a well-known area, Dublin still has so many hidden gems to discover that most guidebooks just don't point you towards. Dublin is as much about the fun and laid-back daytime vibe as it is the well-established nightlife scene.
Similar to much of northwest Europe, Dublin experiences a maritime climate with mild winters, cool summers, and a lack of temperature extremes. The average maximum January temperature is 8.8 °C (48 °F), while the average maximum July temperature is 20.2 °C (68 °F). On average, the sunniest months are May and June, while the wettest month is October with 76 mm (3 in) of rain, and the driest month is February with 46 mm (2 in).
The local area has many attractions of significance including Dublin castle and grounds, Guinness store house where you can have a pint of Guinness in the sky bar overlooking Dublin city, Jameson distillery museum, St michans church and crypt where it is said Handel practised for the first performance of Messiah on the church organ, Christchurch cathedral home to the tomb of strongbow, National museum of Ireland, Phoenix park including newly renovated and extended Dublin Zoo, Kilmainham gaol, Trinity college where you can see the world famous book of Kells also hugh lane gallery are all close by but everywhere in Dublin city centre is accessible by foot. in addition to the attractions there are numerous theatres, clubs, pubs, music venues and restaurants.

"Amazing apartment for everyone"
I stayed in this apartment for a weekend in June and can honestly say it is the best property I have ever stayed in. Patricia the owner was so helpful and friendly, she has catered the apartment to everyone down to every last little detail. I definitely will go back and stay there again, all the group are recommending it to anyone going to Dublin as it is well position got all you need close by too. The shop around the corner was very useful too. You will not be disappointed if you were to stay here.

"Brilliant stay in luxurious apartment"
From the start of the booking Patricia was very helpful and this continued all the way until she waved us on our way back to the airport. The apartment is even better than the pictures and we loved our stay there. The apartment has everything (and more) than what you need and the welcome pack and apple tart left by Patricia was very much appreciated. Patricia even provided some toys for our 2 year old daughter who made the most of it. There is a number of restaurants in the area as well as a supermarket. Would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to visit Dublin - you will not be disappointed.
