The East Ireland region

Dublin is situated on the East coast between the mountains and the sea, so it is just a short drive to the beach or to breathtaking scenery & mountain treks. Ireland is world famous for its golf courses so why not get out into the fresh air (Portmarnock links golf course is 35 mins drive away and the "K Club", home of the Ryder Cup, is less than an hour by car). Easy access to major motorways to allow you to explore the rest of the country with ease. We are 40 minutes from Dublin Airport, and about 2 hours from Belfast, Cork, and Galway cities.

Dublin

The house is in the Dublin suburb of Clonskeagh, very close to a University College Dublin and only a few kilometres from the city centre where you will find theatres, museums, galleries, history, shopping and experience Ireland's famous hospitality & night life. Within 10-15 minutes walk there are a number of bus routes that will bring you directly into the city centre or to Dublin airport.

To the front of the house is a paved area with off-street parking and there is also free on street parking.

"Nice quiet house far out of town"

The house is in a quiet street. It's a 20mins walk to the next big road where buses run frequently. Taxi is about 25eur into city centre. Had problems with TV and wifi, worked eventually. House n… More

I appreciate feedback, however, this review does not give a true reflection of the house. The internet and TV both work - guests had fiddled with equipment and not reconnected them correctly. I live next door and sorted both within 10 minutes of them calling into my house.
There are bus routes that travel to the city centre within a 10 minute walk of the house. Check the Dublin Bus website and route 39A in particular.
Some furniture in the house is old, but the fitted kitchen, dishwasher, fridge freezer, sittingroom suite, and downstairs floors are all less than 1 year old. One upstairs carpet was stained by a group that stayed recently and it will be replaced in July when the house is vacant for a few days. In the interim, we bought some rugs to cover the stained areas of that carpet.
The house has a number of reviews on the airbnb website and they tell a different story about the house.
