The Dubai region
Dubai today is a world-famous tourist landmark, attracting throngs of visitors from around the world. Dubai International Airport is the closest - about a 30 minute cab journey. It's also possible to get the Metro from the Airport to Dubai Marina stop - the apartment at The Torch is about 10 minutes walk away.
If you can get cheaper flights, Abu Dhabi Airport is also quite close - aboout 1 hour 10 mins journey by cab.
