Marga Rock is a charming and comfortably furnished property set all on one level, which offers bright accommodation. The villa is set within large enclosed and green grounds and benefits from its own private pool. It is located in a residential area, 3 km from the town centre, in a quiet setting and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
The interior is decorated in a modern Provencal style and the lovely fitted kitchen is well equipped for a home from home holiday. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully presented.
Outside, you will enjoy the large furnished and covered terrace, ideal for dining al fresco.
If you manage to tear yourself away from the villa, the coast is just a short drive away.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
The Var department is situated west of its famous neighbour Côte d’Azur. With its beautiful landscape of both mountains and sea and its sunny Mediterranean weather it is a popular holiday destination all year round. Along its 300-km long coast, you will find some stylish seaside resorts like glitzy St Tropez and Ste Maxime, as well as some smaller but equally beautiful and charming resorts like Bandol or Le Lavandou.
The beautiful Iles d'Or (Porquerolles, Ile du Levant and Pors Cros) are also well worth a visit and can be reached by boat from La Tour Fondue near Hyères. Inland, you will find delightful and unspoilt hilltop villages, green oak forests and further to the north, the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon with its many water sports and activities. A visit to the Abbaye du Tholonet while the monks sing their evensong can be a most relaxing break from the bustling beaches.
The Var region is particularly well known for its Rosé wine and a good fresh Bandol is well worth a meal in a seafront restaurant. The local Gastronomy is bursting with fresh herbs and full provencal flavours.
Draguignan area
A few kilometres from Draguignan, Lorgues, Flayosc..., just a few of the stunning towns in this northern part of Provence. South is the Mediterranean sea and the gulf of Saint-Tropez. North the Gorges du Verdon with its many watersports and activities. The area is made of hilltop villages, high plains with lavender fields, and the lower green forests and terraced olive groves.
In the fifth century the area was Christianized by Hermentarius, the first Bishop of Antibes. According to legend the Bishop had won the confidence of the inhabitants by killing a dragon which had threatened the whole countryside and laid it to waste. The name of the town also recalls this episode; it appears to be derived from "dragon" and the legendary monster figures in the arms of the town.
The abbaye du Thoronet is a must to visit especially if you are lucky enough to hear the monks sing their evensong.

How to get there
The property is almost half way between 2 major international airports that both accommodate budget airlines. Easy Jet and Ryan air both fly to Marseille and Easy jet to Nice.
British airways often offer good prices and fly to both destinations. Toulon is a smaller airport but is closer.
There is a train station in Les Arcs-Draguignan, high speed trains run to Hyeres and Saint Raphael and local bus services to Draguignan.
