This is a modern home. The living room has natural wood floor and a natural stone fire place. The kitchen is well equipped, with gas hob and electric oven. Natural light fills the living room through patio doors.

People love the view from the house. You could choose to enjoy lazy BBQ's on the side garden watching the changing views across the bay. Quiet location but with a great variety of things to do on your doorstep.

The Donegal region

Donegal boasts a vast rugged coastline softened regularly by a succession of beautiful beaches with golden sand and clear fresh waters. Inland, Donegal is wild and unspoilt with winding roads leading to never-ending spectacular vistas.
Golfing and fishing are popular activities.There’s no shortage of facilities available. Major attractions include Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Tory Island, Glebe House and Gallery, Colmcille Heritage Centre, Fort Dunree Military Museum and Abbey Mill Wheels.
The seaside village of Downings is a pleasant resort that commands a superb views and has a good sandy beach. Downings is on the Rosguill Pennisula and the Atlantic Drive touring route offers up beautiful, unspolit golden sand beaches, rugged coastline and views streching to the horizon of the vast Atlantic Ocean.
Downings, the peninsula's main fishing village is situated on a lovely curved beach. This EU Blue Flag beach is ideal for children as the water is very shallow for a long way out.
Things to do in the Downing area;
There are two 18-hole championship courses at the nearby Rosapenna Hotel. The golf courses are a few minutes' drive from the house and include Old Tom Morris Links and The Sandy Hills Links.

Choice of routes along the coastline, with or without hills, with or without pub-stops.

Rich pickings of tope, gurnard, flat fish, pollack, mackerel, spotted dog, conger, blue shark & giant skate, local fishing charters available. In recent years Tuna have been cought using line fishing and exported to Japan.
6) BEACH WALKING
The property is 5 minute walk to the beach. It's easy to imagine walking the beach and taking in the sea air, relaxing with friends or watching the children play. The beach is very popular in the Summer months and also during quieter seasons.
