This is a modern home. The living room has natural wood floor and a natural stone fire place. The kitchen is well equipped, with gas hob and electric oven. Natural light fills the living room through patio doors.

There is a 32" TV with DVD in the lounge.

People love the view from the house. You could choose to enjoy lazy BBQ's on the side garden watching the changing views across the bay. Quiet location but with a great variety of things to do on your doorstep.

The Province of Ulster region

In County Donegal you can find an ever-changing spectacle of landscapes and seascapes set against a backdrop of mountains and bogland, there is evidence of the traditional Irish culture. Donegal boasts a vast rugged coastline softened regularly by a succession of beautiful beaches with golden sand and clear fresh waters. Inland, Donegal is wild and unspoilt with winding roads leading to never-ending spectacular vistas.

Golfing and fishing are popular activities.There’s no shortage of facilities available. Major attractions include Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Tory Island, Glebe House and Gallery, Colmcille Heritage Centre, Fort Dunree Military Museum and Abbey Mill Wheels.

Downings

The seaside village of Downings is a pleasant resort that commands a superb views and has a good sandy beach. Downings is on the Rosguill Pennisula and the Atlantic Drive touring route offers up beautiful, unspolit golden sand beaches, rugged coastline and views streching to the horizon of the vast Atlantic Ocean.

Downings, the peninsula's main fishing village is situated on a lovely curved beach. This EU Blue Flag beach is ideal for children as the water is very shallow for a long way out.

Things to do in the Downing area;

1) GOLF

There are two 18-hole championship courses at the nearby Rosapenna Hotel. The golf courses are a few minutes' drive from the house and include Old Tom Morris Links and The Sandy Hills Links.

2) KITE - SURFING

Latest and most thrilling skimming the waves aided by an inflated arc-shaped kite, propelled by an ever-present wind, popular on Tramore Beach.

3) WIND SURFING

Top class conditions offer the enthusiast endless possibilities along the 3 mile stretch of clear Atlantic wind and surf, popular all year round. Each Summer there is the Annual World Wind Surfing

Competition.

4) CYCLING / MOUNTIAN BIKING

Choice of routes along the coastline, with or without hills, with or without pub-stops.

5) DEEP SEA ANGLING

Rich pickings of tope, gurnard, flat fish, pollack, mackerel, spotted dog, conger, blue shark & giant skate, local fishing charters available. In recent years Tuna have been cought using line fishing and exported to Japan.

6) BEACH WALKING

The property is 5 minute walk to the beach. It's easy to imagine walking the beach and taking in the sea air, relaxing with friends or watching the children play. The beach is very popular in the Summer months and also during quieter seasons.

7 - DIVING

Crystal clear waters abound with animal life in and out of abandoned wrecks.

8 - PITCH AND PUT

Everybody has to start some time, and here is perhaps the best in the country.

9 - NATIONAL PARK

We are only a short hop away from Glenveagh National Park in 40,000 acres of ancient woodland and its majestic Mansion.
