The Cornwall region
Cornwall is well known for its rugged beauty any time of year. In the summer there is almost too many beautiful sandy coves and beaches to discover. Autumn is the perfect time to follow the coastal path and visit some of the many treasures such as the Eden Project, St, Michaels Mount and the Minnack Theatre. The bleakness of Bodmin moor and the endless views from Minions the highest point in Cornwall are spectacular in winter before having lunch in front of an open fire in a sixteenth century pub. The many sub-tropical gardens open to the public can be enjoyed in spring with endless opportunities to visit the National Trust properties they surround.

"Disappointed,dirty & shabby!"
The view was as described and the welcome pack a nice touch but i'm afraid we could not recommend it. We were very suprised by the previous 2 reviews as our experience was so different, and we are not fussy or picky people. The steps leading up to the cabin have been cut out of a mud embankment at the back of the Wentworth Bungalow, there is no rail just a sheer drop down, when muddy its scarey. The paint on the decking is peeling and the Cabin looks shabby. Inside the first thing that hit us was the musky smell (like wet dog fur) then we noticed how dirty it was, the toilet had not been cleaned properly and had a build up of old wee, the settee had stains and the floors grubby. However the bed sheets were clean. On the secound night it rained and we were woken by rain dripping onto us as we slept, we had to put bowls down to catch the rain. We spent everyday out as it was not nice to relax in.The shower/toilet never dispersed the water properly, leaving it water logged unless moped up and we often found slugs on the toilet seat as they come up through the hole that is meant to get rid of the water. The shower tiles are starting to come away from wall. We only had one week here so felt it was not worth complaining and just got on with it, we are not confrontational people and felt that if these things had been overlooked then there was no point in adding to our misery with further aggro by complaining but hopefully the owner will take on board our experience and look into the points we have made.
this is what can happen if you DON'T follow the instructions given.
you will park in the neighbours only parking space instead of the one provided. you will climb up a muddy slope to your accommodation instead of the concrete steps provided. you will arrive three hours early before the cleaners have been. you will bring an extra adult in a cabin only big enough for a couple. you don't open the waste water fully in the wetroom to drain the water. you don't close roof vent when it rains. last but not least do not phone the owners when you arrive and find a problem so it can be fixed.
