ROSE COTTAGE has been lovingly renovated and newly refurbished to a Visit England 5 star standard offering luxury period accommodation for 2 - 6 people with all of the modern facilities to make your stay as luxurious, comfortable and memorable as possible. FREE WI-FI internet access. The cottage is full of character with original beams, inglenook fireplace, aga and woodburner all make this property a luxury home from home experience. It is set in 600 acres of private farmland where visitors are welcome to explore the surrounding meadows, woods and lakes. Nature Trail around the farm. Fishing available on the River Frome. Large secure garden with beautiful garden furniture. On site Tennis Court available - allocated times each day. Games room with table tennis. Located near the Jurassic Coastline and in the heart of the Hardye Wessex Country. Studland, Weymouth, Portland, Durdle Door, the Purbecks, Monkey World, Kingston Maurward and the Animal Park, Athelhampton House all within easy access. The stunning 'Sculpture by the Lakes' just a couple minutes drive away.

Wonderful holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Rose cottage. Beautiful peaceful place and the tennis court and ping pong were a bonus. Highly recommended.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jane (the owner) a message.

If Jane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
