My husband & I took our 3 elderly parents to stay here for a week over Christmas. We found the house to be very warm & comfortable. The house was extremely well equipped & the decor was beautiful. It had even been decorated with tree & other decorations for Christmas, which really got us into the Christmas spirit! The house is close to amenities but secluded enough to feel that you are in the country. My husband & I enjoyed walking whilst our parents remained warm & comfortable inside! We would not hesitate to recommend this property & would definitely stay there again. |

A home from home. Everything was in great condition and the property was extremely well equipped. We have a toddler and, with a few very minor adjustments (stowing away the breakables), the property was child friendly. Photos do not do the place justice and (as at Oct 2012) do not show the main bedrooms or main dining area. A car is essential but there is plenty to see and do a short drive away. We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay. |
