The County Galway / County Clare / County Clare region
Cul fada is located on a quiet headland on the west Coast of Clare with an array of different beaches to choose from for a bracing walk or picnic and sunbathing.
This area is steeped in tradition and has strong community spirit and a laid back and welcoming atmosphere. The winds from the sea are strong and this is reflected in the few trees and shrubs that manage to survive.
The pace of life is slower and the people are warm and friendly .
This is an ideal base to explore the beauty of West Clare. Travel to Doolin and catch a ferry to the Aran Inslands or take a trip under the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Visit Lahinch the surfing capital of Ireland. Go dolphin watching from Kilrush and visit Scattery island. Savour a traditional irish seisiun at the pub in Creegh every Thursday night. play Golf in the famous Doonbeg Links Golf course.

We had a lovely week at Cul Fada and the surroundings were just what we needed for a getaway. The house was very clean, well maintained, and the tasteful decoration and furnishings made it a home away from home for our week-long holiday. We played golf at the surrounding championship courses and enjoyed the local hospitality and charm of surrounding towns such as Doonbeg and Kilkee. All in all, it was a beautiful place to stay and we will be back!
