This cosy first floor apartment is located on a working farm and boasts excellent views from the bedrooms. Set just one mile from the beach, this property has been decorated and furnished to provide simple, comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to five people. There are two good sized bedrooms, one of which is en-suite and the other boasting both a double and single bed, making it ideal for a young family. The amenities of the nearby village of Doonbeg are within easy reach, and guests at this lovely cottage will enjoy the fabulous surrounding scenery.

The Galway / County Clare / County Clare region

County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.


Doonbeg area

The village of Doonbeg - meaning small fort - in County Clare grew from the remains of Doonbeg Castle, built in the 16th Century. The settlement and surrounding area offer a good variety of pubs, many of which provide traditional Irish music, whilst Greg Norman's new golf course at Doughmore - the Doonbeg Golf Club Course – caters for enthusiasts of the sport. There are numerous walks through this lovely region as well as the opportunity to explore the white sand beaches from horseback.

Doughmore Strand and Spanish Point are renowned for their quality surfing, whilst the towns of Kilrush and Carrigaholt offer boat trips for dolphin watching. With fishing, deep sea angling, the West Clare Railway and the International Jazz Festival, there is plenty to do in this peaceful yet fun-filled area of Ireland.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
