The County Galway/County Clare region

County Clare is one of Ireland's most dramatic and beautiful western counties. From stunning coastal scenery to rolling hills. There's plenty to see and do in Clare and probably the best starting point is a visit to the award winning Clare heritage museum. It tells the story of how Clare has developed over time and the hardships it has been through.

Noted for its traditional music sessions. On the rugged Clare coastline, forty minutes from Ennis town, an hour from Shannon airport.

You can take advantage of the fantastic view of the countryside across to the sea and the Aran Islands. The coast road brings you to the majestic Cliffs of Moher and the village of Liscannor where boats depart for the Aran Islands. In the other direction are the spa town of Lisdoonvarna noted for its bachelor festival in September, the beautiful sand dune beach at Fanore and the heart of the Burren National Park, on to Galway city. This is a wonderful base from which to visit the counties of Limerick, Galway and Clare.

Coastal walks, Fishing - Deep Sea, Fishing - Sea 2 miles. Horse riding, Pitch & putt 5 miles. Surfing, Leisure centre & indoor pool 8 miles.
