"beautifully and comfortably furnished, gorgeous property views and pool"
I stayed in the gite at Les Cypres at the end of July for a week. It was glorious. The hosts who lived next door were very welcoming and accommodating. They also gave us our privacy but were always willing to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions. They gave us a lot of useful information about the area of Tarn, vineyards, restaurants, and villages in the area. The gite was beautifully furnished. There were lots of pots and pans, dishes, stove, microwave etc, lovely dining room; the living room was very spacious, with good TV reception. The rooms were all filled with antique furniture and beautiful decorations and art, comfortable beds. The whole house was very clean. There were plenty of towels. the bathroom was specious. The water pressure was good in the shower- very important to me! I loved opening the shutters in the morning to let the sunlight flood the room. The stone walls kept the house pleasantly cool. The pool and the pool area were so beautiful. There were lush flowers, and plants- rosemary and fresh lavender! Heavenly scent. The grounds were spacious with amazing views of the valleys and fields of bright yellow sunflowers. I even ate some plums right off the trees! We rented a car at the airport and GPS did the rest. We toured the area and ate out in the small towns but also stayed in and cooked a few times. The cheese, fruits and veggies and wines were amazing. There were several towns close by for food shopping and a few large supermarkets that had everything! You can't go wrong! There were outdoor farmers markets on certain days and several vineyards very closeby. I would highly recommend Les Cypres. It was such a tranquil beautiful place to come home to after touring the area.Maybe you will also get to behold the double rainbow that arched over the roof of the house!
