The fully equipped kitchen is both large and practical enough to provide all the desired appliances desired for preparing delicious meals to accompany the glorious alfresco dining opportunities during your stay including a gas hob oven, a coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher.
The sleeping accommodation is perfectly flexible to adapt to each group staying with two very bright and spacious double bedrooms which both benefit from balcony access, a third bedroom also benefitting from balcony access and furnished with a twin set of single beds and a fourth bedroom ideal for younger guests with a modern set of bunk beds and ideal for safety as there is no balcony access from this bedroom. A double size sofa bed can be utilised during guests stay to accommodate a total of 10 guests in the property.
The property conveniently provides guests with a selection of 3 fully fitted modernist bathrooms each equipped with either a bath tub or luxury power shower.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region
The Italian Lakes are a little slice of paradise. Elegant ribbons of blue water stretch out ahead, folded into the sun-baked foothills, with a spectacular back drop of the snow-capped Alps.
Lake Como offers hidden treasures just waiting for the visitor to discover them: charming corners forgotten by time, lakeside villages where nothing seems to have changed for centuries.
It is steeped in history with an immense collection of churches, architectural masterpieces and works of art covering the centuries. The lake is situated in a basin surrounded by wooded mountains, and offers an extremely varied landscape, with its' shores featuring a succession of pastures, and woods as well as harsh and impressive rock formations.
All this alongside elegant, lakeside villas with sub-tropical gardens, which provide a haven of peace and tranquillity and chic resorts such as Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio and Como itself.
Warming, in spriing and graced with natural beauty, the lakes are still a place to draw breath and wonder. Lake Como, oriented north-south, ringed by characterful old villages often wedged onto narrow beaches between rugged cliffs and water. Those classic lake images of flower strewn balconies, Baroque gardens and splendid waterside villas can be found here in abundance. Dotted around and between the lakes are some of Italy's finest art cities, such as Milan, Verona & Bergamo.
The most romantic and picturesque villages on the lake are Santa Maria Rezzonico, Varenna (15 min by ferry) & Bellagio (8 min by ferry), Lenno (visit Villa Balbianello, location for 007's Casino Royale as well as Villa Gaeta, right here in Menaggio) & Laglio (where George Clooney owns Villa Oleandra).
The Dongo / Germasino area
The tranquil hillside location in the picturesque village of Germasino and just 15 minutes drive from the vibrant resort of Gravedona, this beautiful holiday home enjoys the best of both worlds!
The nearby town of Dongo is a commune in the Como Province in the Lombardy Region, and lies on the northwest side of Lake Como. The town has It has a population of almost four thousand and is famous for capturing many powerful fascist leaders on April 27 1945, including Benito Mussolini, as they attempted to cross the Swiss border. Like Musso, those who relish history will thoroughly enjoy Dongo.
In the centre of the largest piazza stands the Palazzo Manzi, although at one time it was an aristocratic residence, it is now the town hall and tourist information office.
The area is especially popular with sailing enthusiasts, where both sailing lessons and boat hire are available. Other water sports available in the area include windsurfing and kite surfing.
The town has a number of historic landmarks to visit including the majestic Palazzo del Vescovo (Palace of the Bishop), this was which was erected in the 1600s by the Marquis Cossoni's family. Much later in 1854, Carlo Romanò who was at that time the Bishop of Como, acquired the building from the family.
In 1983 the town of Dongo aquired the building. The citizens of Dongo, assisted financially by the Comunità Montana Alto Lario Occidentale, shortly thereafter initiated the complete restoration of the Palazzo. The building now houses the Civic Institute of Music 'Alto Lario,' and the International Piano Academy Lake Como.
Gravedona is a beautiful lakeside village with lots of amenities providing a variety of grocery shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, boutique shops and a romantic promenade with spectacular views from this northern village. It is a municipality in the Province of Como, which is located in the Italian region of Lombardy.
The name Gravedona was originally that of a castle and medieval fortifications located in the village. Artefacts from pre Roman times have also been found in the higher part of the village confirming it's historic roots.

Please note that signal and connectivity is not guaranteed and may depend on the strength of the signal in your rental property.
Making a Booking:
To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
