Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
For lovers of calm and space in a preserved and relaxing natural environment…
Perched on a hill overlooking the Céou Valley, surrounded by woods, our village is a veritable haven of peace, sheltered from all disturbance, in particular traffic, as it sits in a cul de sac served only by a simple communal road.?
The cottage is an old barn restored and furnished in a country style, looking directly onto a large green area of more than 6000 sq. meters, where the swimming pool sits. The land is not enclosed per se, but surrounded by hedges and small ancient stone walls.
The cottage is the only building on the land.
The total living space is 120 square meters divided into two levels.
The pool measures12 m. x 6 m., is 2.5 m. deep, and is located about 25 m. from the cottage.
Use of the private pool is reserved exclusively for the tenants and proprietors of the cottage.
The water is treated with an automatic electrolysis system, without chlorine.

About this location
The Dordogne region
The region also offers countless possibilities for excursions, visits and discoveries that have created its reputation: historic sites, castles and bastides (walled villages), prehistoric caves, museums, picturesque villages, etc.
Within a distance of less than 10 km. are all kinds of outdoor sports and activities: golf, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, canoeing, AeroClub, VTT, etc.
Among the most prestigious villages: Sarlat, Les Eyzies, La Roque-Gageac (one of the most beautiful villages in France), Domme, Belvès, Montpazier, Villefranche du Périgord, etc.
The 1000 castles of Dordogne: Beynac, Castelnaud la Chapelle, Marqueyssac, les Milandes, Puymartin, Losse, Hautefort, Montfort, etc.
Then there is Quercy: Cahors, la Bouriane, Rocamadour, Padirac, Figeac, St. Cirq Lapopie, etc.
And not to be forgotten, of course, "gastronomic tourism": foie gras, truffles, nuts, mushrooms, and the great wines of Cahors and Bergerac.
Within the borders of Dordogne and Lot, in Black Perigord, near the great tourist sites of the Dordogne Valley, Plapech is a picturesque and authentic small, rural hamlet comprised of five properties.
It is situated about 2 km. from the town of Saint Marital de Nabirat (population 600), to which it is attached, with a dozen other hamlets nearby.
