Offering multiple sports and green tourism activities nearby like: hiking, forests, swimming, canoeing on the Dordogne River. Gastronomy with some specialities like foie gras, confit, magret or truffle.

Built in 1850 this charming adjoining stone country cottage, with a private fenced swimming pool, is situated in a tiny hamlet very close to the pretty village of Daglan. Its elevated position affords views across beautiful open countryside and walnut orchards farmed by the owners. It is comfortably furnished and the modern features blend perfectly with the traditional. There are several good restaurants and shops in the village. Situated in one of the most sought-after locations in the Dordogne, close to Sarlat and Montignac, this is an ideal base from which you can explore all the main attractions of this area including the famous market at Sarlat, cave paintings at Lascaux and summer night markets. The whole area is dotted with pretty stone villages, walnut orchards and fields of maize and sunflowers.

Slightly sloping path to entrance. Ground floor: Living/dining room with galley-style kitchen and French door. Double bedroom. Twin bedroom. Bathroom/WC with shower cubicle. Open-tread stairs to mezzanine with twin beds and low sloping ceiling.

The wide picture windows of the living room and the bedrooms allow the light and view of the nature to enter, creating a harmony with the life.

The height of the ceilings enabled the creation of a mezzanine. Just under the bay windows, the blue from the pool creates a delightful, yet peaceful air.

In an area of greenery, two hundred year old chestnut trees, beneath which you can enjoy moments of relaxation together.

Location: 2km from Daglan village (shop, baker, bar, restaurants), 13km S of Domme (historic bastide town set on citadel), 14km S of La Roque-Gageac (cliffside village on River Dordogne), 25km S of Sarlat (historic market town, all facilities, twice-weekly market), 47km S of Montignac (historic riverside market town, most facilities, canoe hire, Lascaux cave paintings), 82km SE of Périgueux (capital of Dordogne, cathedral, all facilities).
