We have undertaken a barn conversion to form a charming one bedroomed apartment with many old features ( beams etc)set in countryside close to large national forest. BBQ area and gardens. Plenty of mountain bike trails, horse riding, golf, close Normandy Landing beaches or just peaceful walking

The Normandy / Orne region
Set in the heart of peaceful Normandy countryside, yet close to several towns. Normandy boasts some beautiful countryside and is great for those looking to escape the crowds. It's also a gourmet's heaven, producing some delcious cheese, orchards full of apples for fresh cider and tasty apple brandy, Calvados.
The Domfront / Dompierre area
Bar restaurant and bakery in village. Shops and many restaurants etc in Town 7 Km away
Bagnoles de l'Orne is 9 KM away where there is a Golf Course, many restaurants, a Casino and Horse Riding.
This is an ideal holiday destination for lovers of the great outdoors - with plentiful mountain biking, trails, horse-riding, walking opportunities nearby, or if you fancy something more sedate then you can play a round of golf.

My partner and I were looking to get away from it for a week and came across this place in France. I have been home a day now and am missing it already. Fantastic location in the countryside, the Git was clean and very well supplied and comfortable. As for the couple that own it, they were fantastic, welcoming and very friendly we even had a a night drinking with them and their friends. All in all a fantastic location and throughly recommended to anyone wanting to get away from it all :) Will consider a return visit in the future. |
