Home description
The farmhouse is located down a short country lane and is surrounded by orchards and fields. There are well stocked gardens with fruit trees. The local BAR RESTAURANT is a 5 min walk away TENNIS COURTS, & CHILDREN'S PARK are within walking distance. The SPA is indoors and is hot and bubbling no matter what the weather. The SWIMMING POOL 9 MT X 4.5 MT is fenced in a private part of the garden. The furniture is very comfortable and the house is a home from home. In addition from April 2009, there will be a games room with pool table football table dart board, etc. Ideal location for SPORTS ENTHUSIASTIS or the perfect place for kicking back and RELAXING. Local markets for buying fresh produce are on almost every day. Normandy, Orne is a great place for seeing the real France.

The Normandy / Orne region
Orne has A great variety of landscapes dotted with forests, lakes and chateauxs. The area is steeped in history and its the perfect place to step back in time. It's the perfect place for those outdoor pursuits such as GOLF 9 hole golf course just 15 mins away, there are also approx 10 golf courses within a 90mins drive. Horse riding, Fly fishing is 2km away, rambling, etc.
Domfront / La Haute Chapelle area
The medieval town of Domfront ( just 3km away) with narrow streets and castle ruins dates back to the 11 century and was originally one of Frances strongholds, The castle grounds overlook the Varenne. Domfront has many restaurants, pizza houses and bars, where a warm welcome is assured from the locals. The famous spa town of Bagnoles-del-lorne is 22 km away with casino, lake and spa and 9 hole golf course. In the main town of Flers there is a swimming complex, bowling alley, and some fantastic shops. Mortain has go karting,and other activities as well as boasting the highest waterfall in Orne.

Further details indoors: The HOT TUB/ SPA is indoors and can be used at anytime of year. This warm and welcoming traditional french farmhouse is ideal for families and couples. There is a well equipped kitchen diner with dishwasher and all the usual appliances. The living room has oak beamed ceilings, traditional log fire, dining table and chairs, a three piece suite, tv with satilite video dvd cd. Assorted dvds and videos are supplied. There is a bathroom downstairs with bath, shower, wc, Upstairs are three bedrooms a shower room also with wc.
Further details outdoors: The area around the house is surrounded by fields and is a very tranquil setting. There are beautiful well stocked gardens surrounding the house. There are several covered places to retreat to and read a book or enjoy a lively BBQ. There are swings and garden games for children and sit on toys provided for smaller children. The pool is 30ft x15ft and is in a private fenced off area next to the house.

Towels, linen and utlities are included in the cost, however, there is a small charge for logs after the first basket.
Swimming pool open May to end September. Towels for the beach and swimming pool and hot tub are not provided. Hot tub/spa all year round. Weekly weather reports and what's on are handed to you on arrival.
Conditions
There are nightly rates available for those who are just passing through. 25% deposit is required to confirm booking. Balance to be paid six weeks in advance. A Breakages deposit of £100 is required, Which will be returned to you on departure.
