The Normandy / Orne region
The countryside is breathtaking and there are many places to visit where you can enjoy the French sunshine and a glass of wine. Local markets are on almost every day to buy local fresh produce. The region has plenty to offer for people who enjoy sports ie: kayaking climbing swimming go karting paintballing. France is steeped in history places from the birthplace of William The Conquerer to the WWII museum are all in the surrounding area.

Explore the Medival town of Domfront Mont St Michelle 80kl Golf course within 15 min drive Man made beach just 20 mins away The spa town of Bagnoles De Lorne with casino, lake and assault course in the forest is a 15 min drive away . Visit the castle were William The Conquerer was born BASTILLE DAY the 14 July. Fireworks and celebrations take place all over France a day not to be missed. There are many fantastic restaurts in the area

The lounge also has a dining table for playing card games or any of the other games provided for a relaxing evening in front of the log burning fire. Dvds and videos are provided for long winter evenings. There is a well equipped kithen with dining table and chairs. Patio doors overlook the garden
