Strawberry cottage is situated in a small hamlet close to small village and a short drive to the nearest town,the cottage is attached to Toadstool cottage owners cottage, then Chestnut cottage ( also available sleeps 10 ) please enquire availablity suitable for large family or group bookings . Strawberry cottage has a private access the property comprise of open plan well equipped kitchen , dining seating area for six the lounge area has tv, video player with plenty of videos to watch,books to read and games to play upstairs there are three double bedrooms , one double and two twinrooms ,shower room with wash basin and toilet. French doors leading to terrace area with table and chairs for alfresco dining and summer BBQ and half acre of shared lawns with swing and slide for all children to join in.

The Normandy / Orne region
The mediaeval fortress town of Domfront (12km ) with historic buildings and lovelly views from the fortress ,with narrow streets many shops and cafes. The picturess spa town of Bagnolles de L"orne with its casino ,thermoll spa and quinte street cafes, good walking and the wooded adventure play area in the forest around Bagnolles. The castle at Lassay-Les-chateax , the chateax is open to the public. Or tour the cider museum at Barenton. The man made beach and lake at Le-ferte-mace ideal for swimming, fishing, boating, peddle carts and so much more ..
Day trips also not to be missed Mont st Michel with it world famous Abbey and brittany beaches. The normandy landing beaches. La mans for the motor sports and the loire valley are all within easy reach by car . Paris is just over 2 hr away by train from the nearby town of Flers
Domfront / La Baroche sous Luce area
The Cottage is situated in lovelly area, close to the Foret d"Andaine ideal for walking cycling and watching the abundant wildlife, including many wild birds red squirrels and wildboar. Domfront is full of life with it mediaeval castle to explore and it Norman church , the town has two supermarkets,and this year is it mediaeval festival which is held every two years go to www.domfront.com for more details. For horse lovers there are nearby La ferme du cheval de trait , and further afield is the French national stud. Also near by are mountain bike trails ,kayak and conoeing,rock climing, For keen gardeners many parc ,Chateau gardens in there splender, and much more
How to get there
Ideally located within an easy drive from ferryports of Caen, St Malo,Cherbourg (brittany ferries) or take the cheaper ferry ( ld lines ) to Le Harve. Cheap flights available from Stanstead and East Midland to Dinard airport or Southampton to Caen.

Further details outdoors: The garden is very child friendly as we do not live near any main roads and we have plenty of toys and games for the children and outside on the terrace area is a stone BBQ . Please note smoking is only permited outside on the terrace ( NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE ) . Plus pushchair can be hired for 10 euros per week and adult bikes.

Conditions
Smoking in the terraced area only, A non-refundable depoit of £100 is required to secure booking . The balance payable 6 weeks before date of arrival and a refundable deposit of £50 reqiured with your final payment , against breakages or damage to the property ,also if the property is not left as clean as you would like to fined it , which will be returned within 2 weeks of your holiday subject to meeting all the conditions. Please note to cover the extra cost of heating in the winter there is a small charge for the extra electricity in the winter months. Special low monthly rates for people house hunting or needing some where to stay while renovating
