The Normandy / Orne region
Set in beautiful rolling countryside. The Medieval fortified town of Domfront is only 9km away. Within easy reach by car you can visit the wine regions of Loire,
Normandy Battlefields, Spa Town of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, Cidres of Calvados, Chateaus of Mayenne/Loire regions, Ancient forests and of course the sandy beaches of Normandy/Brittany.
The Domfront / Dompierre area
The village has a mining museum to reflect the former importance of mineral mining in the region. A Michelin star restaurant is just 4 km away. The Spa town of Banoles-de-l,Orne is 16km away and hosts a famous Casino. The Ancient walled Citidel of Domfront is 9km. Forest walks are only 4km. Fishing is available at Champsecret 5km & La Ferriere-aux-etangs 4km. Local shops & banks are also at La Ferrere-aux-etangs. The village hosts a Restaurant & friendly Bar.
An 18 hole Golf course is available at Bagnoles-de-l'Orne.
