The house contains a spacious living/dining area with a wood burning fire, fully fitted kitchen, utility room and separate toilet. Upstairs is 2 good size Double Bedrooms and 1 Single Bedroom (with bunkbed sleeps 2), plus a family bathroom with bath, shower and bidet (travel cot also available).
The property has a patio area, private garden to the rear and parking for 2 cars at the side of the property.

The Normandy / Orne region
Set in an idyllic location Ceauce is only 109 km from the port of Caen and 131 km from the port of St Malo and is ideal for both couples and families. It is 10 minutes drive (13 km) from the medieval town of Domfront, 86 km from the beautiful Le Mont St Michel, 101 km from Bayeaux (famous for it's tapestry) and 125 km from Le Mans.
The closest man made beach is La Ferte-Mace which is only 34 km away, the 2nd beach Suille-Le-Guillaume is only 62 km away. They are both lovely places to visit and as there is plenty to do when you get there is makes it a great day out for the whole family.
Bagnoles de l'Orne is only 30 km away and has a Golf Course and is surrounded by 7,000 hectares of forest. There is also a Lake, Sports Complex, Casino, parkland and superb views.
Sailing is also available at just over an hours drive to the spectacular coastlines of Trouville, Honfleur, Deauville and Granvilleand.
Normandy is blessed with rich coastal waters, sparkling lakes, meandering rivers, rushing streams and arguably the best fishing in France. The fine seafood and fish that appears in traditional cuisine across the region is a testament to Normandy's predominance in the world of fishing.
Domfront / Ceauce area
The local village in Ceauce is only a 5 minute walk from the house and has everything you should need such as a Bakery, Butchers, Restaurant, Pharmacy, Pub, Post Office, Church and even a local convenience store.
The medievel town of Domfront is only a 10 minute drive from Ceauce and offers not only its historic Castle and buildings with outstanding views from its hill top location but also a range of Cafes, Restaurants, Supermarkets and a variety of shops.
The very pictoresque St Fraimbault is a small village nestling in the heart of Normandy countryside just 27 km away from Ceauce. For a village so small it is surprisingly well-known, having won repeatedly the national flowering village competition since 1987. As well as having a very pretty church square the village offers a bakery, small supermarket, post office, bar and tobacconist (Le Relais) and a butcher. There is a lake with pedalos and ice cream bar, a children's playground and of course lots of flowers! Near to the spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne and close to the medievel town of Domfront, St Fraimbault is well worth a visit.

Guestbook for Le Plessis
Hi Michelle, yes we really did enjoy our holiday at Le Plessis, Ceauce. It was easy to find but at the same time quite secluded. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need to make your stay an enjoyable one, satellite tv, dvd and video, microwave, kettle etc. The local shops (5 min walk) were adequate and the people friendly but if you wanted the bigger stores then they were only about 20 mins away. The house is situated within 75 mins of the Normandy beaches and also Le Mont St Michel. Disneyland Paris was approx 3 1/2 hours away. If you didn't want to travel that far, there is more than enough local places to visit (leaflets are also provided within the house).
Overall we were more than happy with the accommodation and it was tremendous value for money.
Once again Michelle we would like to thank you for the opportunity of having a lovely holiday and it was nice meeting your parents over there.
