VILLA VINICIA (17th century) - Apartment 5 Fine decorated apartment, individual, fully equipped and very comfortable. Air conditioned, in the bedrooms upstairs, fully equipped brand new red kitchen with dishwasher, internet connection, large flat screen satellite TV, new furniture and romantic handmade iron beds, ideal mix of antique and modern. Its private garden is very quiet and has a wonderful mountain view and pool (above ground), the garden is equipped with sun beds and tables for you to enjoy relaxing lunches or dinner outside. The Villa is very comfortable, with care decorated, new furniture with style and flair. Once you enter the villa with its majestic entrance with ceilings you feel like walking 400 years into the past. Twice a week we organize typical dinner in the garden with local wine, aperitives with local cheese and salami (all products of the area) and in the morning home made cakes (extra charge) for your breakfast!

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Domaso is a small village in the northern side of Lake Como. Villa Vinicia is located in the historical centre of Domaso. You can enjoy the area making boat excursions to the nicest villages on Lake Como, like Bellagio, Menaggio, Villa D'Este, Como city and visit the most famous villas (Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello). You can enjoy the mountain as well, making nice walks or mountain bikes tours. In winter you can reach the most famous ski resorts within 1 hour (St. Moritz in Switzerland, Madesimo and all Valtellina resorts). Domaso is very close to Switzerland, you can make day trips to Lugano, Bellinzona with its famous castles, enjoy shopping in the outlet Fox Town in Mendrisio (Armani, Gucci, Valentino...)

All water sports are available in Domaso (famous for wind surfing), tennis, golf at Menaggio Golf Club. You can spend relaxing days at the beach or walking through the historical centre, enjoy the romantic sunsets and enjoying the lake, by hireing a private motor boat (we aill arrange it for you).

This is the larges apartment in the villa, big and sunny living room with a glass table for 8 people, sitting room with double sofabed, flat SAT-TV, fully equipped new red kitchen with dishwasher,3 bedrooms (2 with a double bed and one with twin beds) with hand made iron beds, two bathrooms (one with shower/WC and bidet and one with jacuzzi bath tub/WC). In one of the bedrooms you can admire a unique cupboard, realized by using an original antique door of the villa. All bedrooms upstairs with air conditioning.
The peaceful garden has a magnificent mountain view and is equipped with tables and chairs, to enjoy your meals outside and sun beds, to relax and enjoy the sun. Only a few steps from the lake shore, restaurants, shops, boat stop for nice excursions on the lake.
Further details outdoors: Beach 5 mins walk. Lake shore 1 min walk.
Villa Vinicia is in the heart of historical part of Domaso. You can walk to the boat stop in Domaso and visit the most beautiful spots on Lake Como.

We organize exclusive private excursions on the lake with private motorboat and english speaking guide, special dinners in the best restaurants or local small "trattiria", funny excusrions with hot air balloons, jeep trips through the mountains with pic nics, walking or cycling tours with guide in the mountains, day trips to Venice or Florence with a guide, special programms for the children and much more....please enquire while booking the Villa.
