The North Wales region
North Wales has to be amongst the most beautiful regions of the world; Mountains, woodland, rivers and lakes. A very fertile land with plenty of life giving rain, sun and, in winter, snow topped mountains.
When it comes to attractions, North Wales offers something to suit every taste... you will find there just aren't enough hours in the day or days in the week.
Castles, stately homes, gardens, lively family parks, art galleries, craft centres, museums, steam trains we have it all!. You can potter around charming towns and villages, explore our rugged coastline, feel soft sand between your toes, or have some family fun at the many events taking place all year round. Whatever the weather, there is something for everyone.
Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales' highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe. You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.
Stunning, unspoilt, Snowdonia National Park.

"Exquisite and beautiful and very stylish but homely feel."
I have now been to this property 3 times in 2013. On every occasion my experience was most enjoyable. From the booking to the directions/location to the accommodation to the decor and view - all were spot on.
Whether you are with friends, a couple or a family unit this place offfers and accommodates for all.
The views are breathtaking and the local amenities are literally a few minutes away.
Nothing is too much trouble. On my first visit there wasnt any soap dispensers in the bathrooms, on my second visit they were there!.

"Ideal for family stay"
I grew up in Dolgellau and wanted somewhere to stay so that my family could visit the area again.
This is a fantastic house which fitted our needs exactly, with plenty of room for everyone and with excellent facilities, including safety gates at both the top and bottom of the stairs. It is beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We had a problem with the shower in the ensuite bathroom on the first day, but on speaking to Victoria we were able to sort out the problem very quickly.
I was able to retrace the steps of my youth and revisit the stunning countryside and seaside near Dolgellau.
This property is ideally located as a base for exploring this wonderful picturesque area of Wales.
How lovely to have someone stay here who grew up in the area. A definite seal of approval for the property. Thank you very much for the review. Hope to see you back again soon.
