About this location
The Cornwall region
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
Surrounded by open fields and wooded countryside, the rural village of Dobwalls is positioned close to the market town of Liskeard as well as the slopes of Bodmin Moor and the southern Cornish coast. This is a perfect base from which to explore the various activities on offer throughout the region. These include the picturesque fishing harbours of Looe and Polperro. Visitors can take a trip to Siblyback Lake to enjoy the wonderful sailing, fishing and watersports on offer there, or alternatively travel a little further inland for wonderful walking routes on Bodmin Moor. The world famous Eden project is within 15 miles whilst the vibrant town of Plymouth can be reached in 30 minutes. Nearby Liskeard station also means that you can leave the car at home.
