Home description
This modern but traditionally built fisherman's cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 people comfortably with the possibility of at least 2 more.
In bedroom one there is a double bed and in bedroom two there are bunk beds and there is also a pull out double mattress.There is also a sofa bed downstairs.
Outside there is a patio with garden furniture and a secure fenced garden area that is south facing and perfect for soaking up afternoon and evening sunshine.The swimming pool is secure and only 50m from the patio.There is a barbecue.

The Normandy / Calvados region
The Normandy region boasts so many attractions. From the beautiful coastline to the vast array of historic museums, monuments and memorabilia from William the Conqueror to the D-day landings.Monets garden at Giverney,Historic Rouen and the Basilica at Liseuex are all possible day trips.
This area is a perfect base not only to relax locally as you are so close to both the swimming pool and also the perfect sandy beach but also to explore local attractions like Bayeax tapestry, Caen , Pegasus Bridge to name a few.
Chic shopping is just up the coastline at Deauville and Honfleur or inland at Caen. Children will love the theme park near Caen called Festyland. The area is great for walking ,inland is beautiful scenery or there are miles of sandy beaches.Along the beach to Houlgate, Cabourg make a ideal evening walk.
Dives sur Mer area
Dives town is a typical Normandy village with an old church and a fine selection of restaurants and bars.There is a market every week where local produce including cheese,wine and cider is sold.There is a Hyper U supermarket 2 miles away.
There are two restaurants and a Patisserie around Port Guillaume which is 200 metres from the house.
Cabourg town is also close to hand along the beach boasting equally good restaurants and bars. Available locally are numerous facilities so there will be no bored moments.These are but a few Tennis courts, water sports centre, indoor swimming pool, horse riding, Kart racing and sand yacht racing. Three golf courses within easy local access.
There is night horse racing at Cabourg race track twice a week in summer and two beautiful horse racing tracks at Deauville.
How to get there
This property is best reached by car but can be reached also by plane and train. The autoroute A 13 is only 10 km.

Change over is usually on Saturdays or Wednesdays in high season but is flexible at other times. Please discuss with the owner.
The reservation is confirmed by a 25 % deposit and the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. A full receipt will be issued. A fully refundable deposit of £100 is payable in advance. This will be returned in full immediately after our Caretakers review.
The cost quoted is fully inclusive of a full clean arranged by the owner at the end of your stay.
