The cottages are all well furnished and comfortable, all are very well equipped, cleaned and maintained by ourselves, and are homes not just a holiday cottage.

Springtime brings, snowdrops, daffodil and bluebells amongst the woodland.
You can sit back relax and enjoy the Swans, Ducks, Kingfishers, Heron, woodpeckers, Barn owls that are being spotted more often in the waveney valley , if your lucky and sit long enough you may even see the Otters that have been released over the past few years by the Earsham otter trust, or just enjoy feeding the fish, and watch them jump.
On warm sunny days it's wonderful to picnic, and catch the cool breeze.

This is a lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings. Good place for just chilling out but also well positioned to go visiting around Norfolk/ Suffolk area. We visited Banham Zoo, Framlingham Castle, Bressingham steam collections and gardens (bit disappointing) in the week we were there. Cold windy weather effected our stay but that's British weather for you! Lovely coal effect fire in the cottage helped thaw out our bones after a cold day out. Some good local pubs for eating out ( Horseshoes and Red lion) as long as you have a car to get there. Property offered wi-fi but we couldn't manage to get on it, also mobile reception bad indoors (could be seen as a blessing if trying to get away from it all). Warm and welcome reception from owners including some nice little treats in the fridge. Really comfy beds. We will definitely visit again. |

Coach cottage is very well equipped for relaxing, sleeping and eating - everything you would need to produce and serve a Sunday dinner! But we had our dinners out, at several of the excellent pubs... more |

My adult daughter and I stayed for 3 nights at the Olde Coach House Cottage. The whole experience surpassed our expectations. The cottage is very well renovated with the original features present, beams, inglenook fire place etc, but the trappings of modern life are supplied too (ie a dishwasher, full oven, microwave, modern bathroom, modern TV etc) . The cottage has so much equipment. Overall it feels like someone's home not a holiday let. The feature that was a very pleasant surprise was the 3 acres of garden and woodland leading down to the very pretty River Waveney, complete with swans. Guests are free to wander around the garden and we spent a lovely evening sitting by the river after a hard days sightseeing! The owners Jackie and John are lovely. Really welcoming and friendly. Slight downside- the free WiFi signal did not really work in the cottage. The mobile phone reception is not good (we had 3 different providers amongst the phones we had with us). But mobile phones (well certainly O2 and Three), worked outside. This is obviously not the fault of the cottage, just the general mobile reception in this area. |
