The small fishing village of Ballydavid has a sandy beach, restaurants serving fresh seafood and pubs with traditional Irish music. Blue Flag sandy beaches, watersports, swimming and horseriding along the beach can be found at Ventry and the area boasts archaeological sites. Ballydavid is a superb base all year round.
