Stephen and I rent rooms in our lovely house situated 8kms west of Dingle on the beautiful Slea Head Drive. Stephen is a musician and painter, and I am a musician and Ayurvedic massage therapist.

A continental breakfast of fresh bread and rolls, local cheeses and jams, fruit, tea and coffee is included: but, if you're up for a hearty Irish breakfast, I can whip one up for you too.

There are plenty of things to do and see within a few kms of our place; such as, Irish trad music, local pubs, beautiful beaches and landscapes for painting and photographing, swimming, surfing, diving, fishing, horseback riding and hill walking. And of course Fungi, the dolphin! Its also worth mentioning that if you're into golf, The Dingle Golf Links Course is just 4kms down the road.

And, after a day full of activities, you can have an Ayurvedic massage to relax and unwind.

We are 2.5 hours from Cork and Shannon airports, 1.5 hours from Kerry airport.

Stephen and I look forward to making your visit to Ireland a warm memorable experience.

The County Kerry region

The Dingle Peninsula is the farthest west you can go in Ireland and is the very edge of Europe. Once described by National Geographic as "the most beautiful place on earth", the Dingle Peninsula is a place of spectacular seascapes and landscapes shaped by the elements. Its wild and rugged coastline of steep cliffs and wide sandy beaches is a place where the mountains roll into the sea.

Artists, musicians and writers come from across the world to live, eat and breathe authentic culture; real food, real stories, and real ceol agus craic at music sessions and festivals across Dingles tiny settlements. The global surfing and windsurfing communities come to experience world-class sport here in the huge Atlantic swells and southerly winds.

This region is rich with ancient history, with pre-historic sites and early Christian heritage, Celtic crosses, monastic "beehive" huts and Irelands oldest stone-roofed church.

The little fishing port of Dingle with its brightly colored houses, its traditional pubs and its cosmopolitan, creative community serves up some of the worlds best food. And off Slea Head, the most westerly tip of the Peninsula lies a deserted village with a poignant past, on an archipelago that gave birth to Irelands greatest born-storytellers the mystical Blasket Islands.

Situated 8kms west of Dingle and 2kms out of Ballyferriter on the Slea Head drive, a stay in Emlagh east presents easy access

to numerous beaches and historic points of interest.

Hill walking, golf, fishing and horse treking are only a short drive away. The beaches, only a twenty minute walk
