The Staffordshire region
Blakeley Barns is ideally situated in a rural village but within 5 minutes you can be back onto the main A50 leading to the motorways. But close by we have the Staffordshire Moorlands Towns of Cheadle and Leek.
The Peak District offers wonderful days out in endless countryside, fantastic walking and exploring at Manifold Valley, Dovedale, Buxton and Bakewell.
Foxfield Steam Railway line runs through our field, and the station is located nearby. Throughout the summer they have lots of festival weekends and special train weekends such as Halloween and Santa train at Christmas.
We are only a short drive from Alton Towers and their water park Splash Landings.
Waterworld and The Ski centre are also just a short distance away.
The Potteries centre offers fantastic shopping, and The Potteries museum has the famous 'Staffordshire Hoard' on show. Royal Doulton, Wedgwood, Moorcroft, Aynsley and Portmerion all have great factory shops within easy reach.
