"Even the weather was perfect!"
Owners David and Monique couldn't have been more helpful. Not only did we receive clear instructions on how to find the property, they also greeted us with a welcome pack of food and drink to see us through our first day and night. This is spacious and well maintained accommodation in a beautiful part of Holland. The property is perfectly positioned for exploring the fantastic local countryside or as a base for discoveries further afield. The owners really made our stay perfect; they even proved some great late September weather! This is certainly a place we'll want to visit again.

"Ideal Base for North Holland"
Thank you for a lovely, relaxing break. We’ve had a wonderful time discovering this part of the Netherlands and love this little village. There was still so much more to discover. Many thanks to our hosts for all their help and advice. The children have loved the freedom of cycling safely (the routes are there, now we need to work on their ‘road awareness’!). The village has lots of little restaurants and shops- with a supermarket not 100 metres down the road. A trip to the ice cream shop is a must- fabulous with late opening times too! Many thanks to David and Monique for also requesting decent weather for us!

"Picturesque Diever....Hidden Treasure in the Netherlands"
Traveled to Diever with my father and four teenage daughters. From the moment we arrived, the owners went above and beyond to cater to our jet lag, as well as help with determining an itinerary for our stay. We rented bikes in Diever and enjoyed a day in the forest exploring, not to mention the ice cream shop we encountered. Home is very well maintained, allowing for plenty of room for our large group. Kitchen was much appreciated to help curb spending and eating out so frequently. After spending a day in the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, it was a welcome reprieve to return to the calmness of Diever. Plenty of restaurants around most within walking distance, which provide a large variety of fare....hoping to visit again soon.!

"Wonderful accommodation and great location"
The farmhouse has everything you could want, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Beds were lovely. Very spacious and roomy. David and family, the owners who live at the back of the accommodation, could not have been more helpful, giving us a tour of the village and finding out anything we wanted to know, and the welcome package was very generous. David arranged the hire of bikes for us, which I would recommend, as the area is beautiful and very flat. Would recommend this accommodation to anybody. Thank you very much - we had a very special holiday.

"Ideal location and warm welcome in spacious house."
Your hosts are welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The front of the property is for holiday let and easily accommodated seven adults, three small children and an infant. The separate kitchen has a breakfast table and also a large family dining table for the adults. In the large lounge there is plenty of easy seating along with TV etc. and a full toy cupboard for the children. The windows look out onto the street and you can glimpse the world go by (not noisy or an intrusion). A ground floor bedroom is handy to give a little separation from the large bedrooms upstairs. There is a little side garden for sitting out or BBQs and sufficient parking for our three cars. Diever is a charming small village in the attractive Drenthe region and has some small shops, restaurants, cafes and take-a-ways for your holiday needs, all within walking distance. We recommend local bicycle hire, canal boat rides and walks in the woods, all of which your host can arrange. Our concerns over only one shower room were overcome by a little flexibility and the use of washbasins in some bedrooms. There are separate loos upstairs and on the ground floor, which helps. The stairs are steep and open to one side, so care is needed, especially with small children and the gate on the drive helps keep them off the street.
