This incredible two bedroom/two bathroom villa has an exceptional balcony which overlooks the bluest waters of the Caribbean. View 61 is one of our honeymoon villas. A 4 minute walk (about 300 meters) will take you to the favourite beach in Antigua. Located in a secluded spot in Dickenson Bay with ready access to all the action, View 61 is fenced to offer you ultimate privacy.

The villa itself has two en suite bedrooms with a king size bed in one bedroom, and 2 queen beds in the other bedroom. The bedrooms are far apart from each other, making View 61 ideal for 2 couples. View 61 has a full kitchen with all the cutlery, cooking utensils, and dishes provided. The villa has a large patio on one side with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the Bay, and a breakfast patio just off the kitchen, offering unobstructed views of the bay. The living room is open, giving a full view of Dickenson Bay. You have your own private swimming pool and private outdoor spa where you can relax and enjoy the inspiring view of the ocean and the Bay both from the pool and the spa, as well as from the villa. View 61 has its own charming little garden surrounding the villa.

View 61 is fully furnished and equipped with all amenities you could desire. After swimming in the private pool or letting the private Jacuzzi relax your muscles, feel free to enjoy the cable tv in each bedroom, or the small video library, our collection of books, surf the net using our high speed wireless internet, or even have a barbeque. We also have a maid trained to spoil and pamper you, if you so desire.

At your request, we will be on hand to greet you on your arrival at the airport, and provide you with transfer to the villa. After showing you around, we will only ever be a phone call away to offer you advice or assistance. We look forward to suggesting great days out or simply the best places to eat. The Antigua region

The region is gorgeous, known throughout Antigua as the most beautiful area on the island. Dickenson Bay has a wonderful climate, and the beaches are absolutely some of the most beautiful in the world. All just a short walk away from the villa. Almost all watersports are just a short walk from the villa- snorkeling, jet skiing, swimming, parasailing, sailing, boating, etc. Local shops, restaurants, nightlife, are all just around the corner from the villa.

Dickenson Bay area

One of the most celebrated beaches in the Caribbean is just a short walk away, bustling with action and offering opportunities to go sailing, boating, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and other activities such as boat tours around the island. First class restaurants, an 18-hole golf course, 2 casinos, and other nightlife are just a stone’s throw away. The capital city of St. John's is only about a 7 minute drive away. Other tourist hotspots are also just a short walk or drive away. Please let us know if there's anywhere you want to visit, and we'll be happy to help with your plans.

How to get there

The best way to get to the property is either by taxi, car hire, or having one of our staff come and meet you at the airport. Most of our guests decide to rent a car while in Antigua, and at your request we come and meet you at the airport, and show you around the island. The airport is only about a 15 minute drive from the villa.

There is 20.5% tax and service charge on the rates for the villas.

When you book with us, we meet you at the airport, show you around and escort you to the appropriate villa. We can rent a car for you at the lowest rate possible in Antigua, if you so desire, usually $35 per day. The pick up fee to meet you and show you around is a total of US$30 and that includes everybody.

When you arrive at the villa we read the electricity meter in your presence and a day or two before you leave, we read it again and you pay for the exact amount of electricity you use in local currency which is small but we do this to encourage responsible usage of the island’s limited resources.

A damage deposit of US$300 will be required when you check into the villa. This will be fully refunded before departure in the absence of any damage.

Guestbook

I certainly recommend View 62 for anyone traveling to Antigua. The team at antiguavilla are all such a pleasure to deal with, and catered to us so well. The villa was perfect, just as had been described to us. The beach was right across the street, or if we wanted to get away from it all, we would cross the street again and swim in our private pool. Ideal for couples, as it is a very romantic setting and the bedrooms are farther apart. I was with my husband and kids, and they had a wonderful time too. Our villa had two queen sized beds for the kids in one bedroom, and a king sized bed in our bedroom.

The property was extremely clean, and I'm a little obsessive compulsive, so it was a relief to not have to do any extra cleaning. I was happily surprised when we arrived at the villa and saw a little dvd library, as well as a small book library. I ended up recommending this property to my friend, who also stayed and had a lovely time.
