Tranquil living on the Green! With far reaching views from its idyllic spot on Point Green, this Cornish gem offers a spell-binding river view retreat for groups of 5.

Behind the tasteful double-fronted period facade, two floors of newly modernised 5 Star accommodation await. From first entering the hallway guests will feel at home, with the inviting warmth of the ground floor under-floor heating to keep you as toasty as can be in the wintertime.

An ambient roaring fire to the wood burning stove in the sitting room also offers a tempting retreat for quality moments together in the cooler months. The tranquil interior palette of pale blue and soft stone offers a chic coastal setting, whilst the plush sofas, solid wood flooring and antique

touches offer an inviting interior for socialising and relaxing. Of course no sitting room would be complete without a 32'' flat screen Freeview TV, DVD player, music stereo and WIFI access; which is provided here for guest's comfort.

Leading on from the charming sitting room a beautiful kitchen diner offers all the must-have appliances for enjoying a comfortable self-catering stay. The contemporary cottage-style kitchen effortlessly flows to a lovely dining area for up to 6. The elegant and tasteful dining area is

complemented by Jacobean-style chairs and an oval dining table, for the perfect venue in which to host memorable meals. Guests can also easily enjoy a relaxed morning coffee, to the less formal conservatory. With its radiating year-round warmth and its views of the beautiful garden to enjoy, guests can easily unwind here throughout the day.

The ground floor of the holiday cottage further features a modern cloakroom WC and laundry facilities for guest's convenience. From the ground floor a flight of stairs leads to the sumptuous sleeping arrangements upstairs. The charming period features have been lovingly retained to the 3

bedrooms, whilst being beautifully enhanced by stylish interiors and premium quality furniture and bedding. The tranquil views of Restronguet Creek enjoyed from each of the bedrooms offers a serene ambience in which to unwind.

The spacious double master bedroom provides a regal and restful ambience in which to enjoy a slumber, with a private shower room also to hand for additional comfort. The second country-style double bedroom is also beautifully finished and features a zip and link feature, to enable the double bed to be separated into two single beds if needed. The first floor is further complemented by a pretty third single bedroom and a luxury natural stone tiled bathroom, fitted with a contemporary bath tub and a separate power shower.

Outside the period holiday cottage, guests have the beautiful haven of landscaped garden in which to relax and explore. Lovingly kept with mature borders, pristine lawns and two covered ponds, the pretty garden offers a welcome sanctuary in which to read a good book or entertain.

A private parking space can further be found both to the front and rear of the property, for guest's use.

From the serene river view setting of Green Point, guests are within enviable reach of the waterside, just 100m away. Also located within easy reach of a local beach and power boat rental service, guests are perfectly placed for enjoying a tranquil coastal holiday. A host of very good pubs and restaurants nearby also provide the perfect complement to dining in, for a wonderful chance to savour the fine local cuisine.

Guests staying here are spoilt for choice for things to do, with sailing and water sports in Mylor Yacht Marina to enjoy alongside lazy beach days and the visitor highlights of Falmouth. Sightseeing and shopping in Truro also offers a cosmopolitan day out whilst the nearby garden attractions of Trelissick, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan offer idyllic days out for nature lovers.

The South Cornish coast is also home to surf schools, art galleries, luxury day spas, breathtaking coastal walks and more!

About this location

The Cornwall region

The villages of Point and Devoran are relatively undiscovered and have an interesting history, built along the deep tidal Creeks of the Rive Fal which were once used by the ships transporting tin. The villages grew with the tin industry of Cornwall and today you can still see the remnants of this throughout the village.

This tranquil setting is well placed to explore, just 6 miles to Falmouth with it's maritime museum, sandy beaches and sailing, The Cathedral City of Truro is only 4 miles away or a short trip on the King Harry Ferry and you are on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, this is a peaceful area perfect for relaxing family holidays.

The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within 40 minutes drive and the stunning beaches of north Cornwall are easily reached by car in less than 30 minutes.

Closer to home this area of outstanding natural beauty has lots on offer, with some of Cornwall's most picturesque walking trails. The old Tramway is now a cycle track which runs through the valley and on to Portreath beach, 11 miles away on the north coast.

If sailing is your thing, you could hire a boat or canoe at nearby Mylor and explore the River Fal's creeks and inlets.

At The Old Quay pub you will find a warm welcome and excellent food. Bikes can be hired from the pub.
