Sterlinghe is an ideal destination for two or more families wanting their own exclusive villa, but don't want to live on top of each other. Sitting on the crest of a hill it looks out over uninterrupted views of Umbrian and Tuscan countryside. Completely secluded, without overlooking houses, the villa is set in six acres of natural gardens with its own private 14 metre pool.
Set high in the foothills of the Apennines, the villa has three foot walls and shutters on every window, keeping it cool during the day, while the light evening breezes allow for a peaceful night's sleep.
The kitchen is well equipped to deal with large parties who can eat on the terrace, in the dining room in front of open fires or in the pool house.
Only 10 minutes from Citta di Castello which has unlimited choice of restaurants and entertainment.

Citta di Castello is in the midst of rolling Unbrian Hills with small Etruscan forts seemingly on the top of every hill. The woods are vintage oak and chestnut where truffles about, agriculture is sunflowers Olive and vine groves. The area remains very unpoilt - loads of beautiful little villages, each with an exceptional restaurant.
While the position of Sterlinghe is remote, it is also only a 10 minute drive to Citta di Castello, which is a stunning medieval town with loads of excellent restuarants. It can get very hot in the middle of summer, but as you climb the hill to return to Sterlinghe the change in altitude gives a light cool breeze throughout the night - no aircon or fans required.
